I think Mike Brown is one of the primary reasons why LeBron is the tool he is today, so no thanks. If JVG is interested in coaching again, I think we go after him as hard as we can.

Honestly we should never have let Rick Adelman go.

Yup. I was all for letting Adelman go at the time, and I was dead wrong. The guy is an elite coach and we let him get away for all of the wrong reasons.

With that said, hiring Brooks over Theus would have been great, or even Thibodeau. Granted, we were one of many teams to pass on Thibs over the years, but I think he's doing a great job in Chicago now. We'd be much better off with all 3.

That isn't, to be clear, to say that the players deserve no blame, because they certainly do. But the fact remains that this team is more talented than last year, and is playing much worse. That's not acceptable.

I don't have too much of a problem with letting Adelman go. I have a huge problem with letting him go and then not rebuilding right after that. They still dragged out this rebuild for a good 2 years after that. I can understand not wanting to play top dollar for a coach when you plan on sucking but what the hell was with the freakin' delay! Oh well, we're finally on our way now. Well...almost, hehehe.

In big agreement with this. It kills me to know that right now we could easily be two years ahead of where we are now if only the rebuild had started when it should.

I FINALLY get what the management is trying to do, they dont fire the worst coach in the league so we can easily tank and get a very very high lottery pick next year. Maybe is not a bad strategy after all.

Return to Sacramento Kings
