Hawks just signed Nique's nephew Damien

I remember when he used to always torch us when he was with the Oklahoma Thunder known as the Seattle SuperSonics at the time. I think he can provide some rebounding and pretty good defense on 2's and he's versatile enough to play the 3, hopefully his shot is there like when he played us. What do we think of this pick up??

For the minimum? Could do worse, we do need a backup 3.

I don't see DWilks really playing more than Mario minutes...er...seconds? over his presumably short tenure here but I feel that Drew is the type of coach that won't mind increasing his pt if he earns it.

Actually I think Damien could score some minutes at SF as Joe's surgery leaves us thin at the wing. Don't expect him to get them on day 1 but we have quite a few back-to-back games and that should increase his PT.

He has good size, adds depth to the bench. I like the move.

Going for a GA guy, i would have preferred jarvis hayes. Not sure where he plays, if he plays...

this is great, i'm a big fan, i think Damien can be better than Mo Evans.

Damien's 3pt shooting numbers might not look good, but the guy is a legit shooter and athlete. the one year when he had talented teammates in Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, he was hitting .400 from the arch.

i thought i was seeing things when i saw the game last night. I knew that was Damien on the bench but im glad you guys verified it for me. Now, lets get the youngsta in shape and get him some PT.

They should of signed him years ago Just off the strength of being Niques nephew. I was at Phillips arena when Damien dropped 41 on the Hawks in a OT thriller in 07. I'm glad to see that they finally brought him in but good grief WTF took them so long what a slap in the face to Dominique Wilkins.
