The touch fouls on Tyson Chandler are abyssmal. The last one he had his hands straight up in the air standing perfectly still.

I am seeing 3 surprising things tonight...

1) Haywood is a much better matchup against the post game (Al Jefferson) than Chandler. Yet people on this forum still dis Haywood.

2) Barea has been playing so well that Kidd has been on the bench.

3) Barea has played great D on Deron Williams (I don't know if that one will last though).

Congrats on the win. This is the best defense I've seen all season against the Jazz. We can't get anything going in the paint, and that's the game right there.

Dallas looks like a legit contender.

Wow. Utah is getting many bail out calls.

best defense we've played all season, maybe the best d a team's played all year. they got to a bunch of loose balls and we still were able to stop them

barea and haywood werent much in the 1st half but were both pivotal in our big run in the 2nd half. just an all around fantastic victory. dont remember the last time i saw williams play this bad against us, just looked out of it all game

Easy mode!

Add the jazz to the list of teams that no one could beat... Untill they played the mavs!

JJ was ballin in the 4th quarter. His best game by a mile this season.

On to the next one.

Tomorrow is a sleeper game. We play the Kings, but the Kings just got their pride hurt by LA tonight..

Yeah, we got some calls our way and still missed out free throws. LOL

Oh, that was a nasty 2nd half beat down. Good D, good win by your team.

Dirk should be the leading candidate for MVP.

After 4 efficient scoring games in a row, can we admit we over-reacted about Butler's start to the season?

Impressive win tonight. What I'm liking more and more is the minutes that are spread out evenly among the nine guys. I guess this is what REAL depth is.

caron was never really a problem for me, he isnt shooting better, his shot selection is just improving, he still takes one or two bad shots a game but its better then 3 or 4

And that's exactly why I think this is sustainable.

if you were to reach into the bag to pull out the Mavericks' wallet, it would say "BAD MOTHERF*CKER" on it.

Not really. He didn't shoot very well with us last year either. Obviously he should be expected to come up from 38% shooting (which is how awful he was early on), but a 4 game sample size doesn't change things. He's still a 43%ish guy with a pretty poor shot selection (though that's improved lately and hopefully here to stay) and he can't finish at the rim. Marion however has really impressed me this year. He should be starting over Caron, and he still tends to get the 4th quarter minutes over Butler.
