Yippee. Am I the only who feels as if we are gonna get slaughtered?

I expect either a blowout or for us to be up by double digits going into late in the 4th and weathering the storm, winning by 6. Nothing in between.

Yes we will get blown out for sure especially after having to fight back to win tonight against the sixers. Guaranteed slaughterhouse tomorrow night unfortunately.

A classic matchup of two teams that beat bad teams and struggle against good teams, so I guess if we lose it is confirmed that we are a bad team and same thing goes for Miami if we win.

I expect too many excuses are available (2nd night of back-to-back, on road, no Joe) for our guys to do us proud. I just don't think our players have enough FU in the their attitudes to roll into Miami and outplay them like Indiana did last weekend.

I think the opposite - we always get up for the Lakers, probably didn't think about the Celtics much since we swept them last season, and we tried for Orlando. Miami has hype, so we'll try.

It sucks that you guys don't have JJ :/. Even if we win (not saying it's granted, because it's not), we won't really be winning against the true Hawks team...

I like our chances! I just hope we don't send Miami to the foul line 50 times.

The chances of us winning to me are pretty slim but for some reason we seem to focus better on the road this season. And for that I actually give us a fighters chance down there. I feel if the game was being played here in Atlanta that we would have an even tougher time to tell you the truth.

I hope Jordan Crawford plays tonight. Maybe he can dunk on Lebron again!

If LD is smart he'll play Jamal and Jordan heavy, heavy minutes.

Just going by the results on the season, we each have one win against a team with a greater than .500 record. Miami beat Orlando once and we beat the Knicks. It's true that we've not played as many over .500 teams (only 5 I think), but we've both racked up our wins against teams with losing records.

I'm just talking about what I think is the mentality of the team, which is kind of soft. Dismisses 'weak' teams or teams they beat last year, goes up for those who have a rep (Lakers, Heat pre-season), but is ultimately terrified of teams that consistently dominate them (Orlando).

We got raped on our homecourt against the Celtics because......

This team is weak minded and ultimately not very good, thats all there is to say about it. They just arent good.

Hawks: If they play as they did last night ---------

Heat by 20 something!!

Terrible game for most of the game last night if we did pull it out in the final half of 4th qtr.
That just will not work tonight.
Another thing, look out for Big Z - - - The Hawk killer.

Because we swept them last year so we probably didn't think twice about that game, and before they knew it they were down 30 points in the first quarter.

Azuresou1, I hope you're right because if Lebron and company sense fear and seem to play better when they had a psychological advantage on the players on the court. However, if the team they are facing just plays all out without fear then the Heat are more likely to falter.

We are likely to miss Joe's D tonight.

Thats not an excuse. They know the Celtics are coming for that ass. They know that Boston is one of the best. You absolutely, under any circumstances, should never get beaten that badly. The Hawks are a top 6 team in the East and have the talent to beat anyone. You CANNOT lose by that much, EVER.

There are no excuses for losing to both Milwaukee and Boston at home by a combined 60 points.

How am I making any excuses when I just called them out for being mentally soft?

Nevertheless I will be very surprised if we lose due to poor effort... we might lose, but it won't be because of effort.

Sorry, I get a little crazy when it comes to this team. It really frustrates me.
