NCAA week 14

Post#1 » by chuckleslove » Sat Dec 4, 2010 5:23 pm

Conference championships and a few other games today.

Obviously for the very small shot at the national championship game: go Beavers, go Gamecocks

Beyond that hopefully just some good football. I love football in the snow so enjoying this Pitt vs Cin game, pathetic that a 3-5 loss Big East team is going to get to a major bowl.

I'm cheering for the worst Big East team to make it. If WVU wins here and solely needs UConn to lose to make it, I'm cheering UConn. If WVU loses, then I want UConn to lose and want some crazy tie-breaker where Cuse or Pitt makes it (I'm not so sure either would).

Cuse can't make it. If both Uconn and WVU lose and Pitt wins then they make it.

They can end up with a 5 way tie at top of the Big East but only Pitt, UConn and WVU can win the tie breakers.

UConn wins and they are in, WVU needs a win and a UConn loss Pitt needs a win and losses by the other two. The rest of the games are irrelevant. So the way the worst team makes it is for WVU and UConn to lose and a 5 loss Pitt team makes it.

Will these idiots shut up? The ground didn't cause the fumble, the Rutgers' player helmet caused the fumble. The only question should be if his knee was down. If it wasn't or you can't tell where his knee was in regards to when the ball came out, it's a fumble.

I completely disagree with that call. The helmet jarred the ball loose and his hip landed on the Rutgers player. The only question was the knee and it didn't look like that hit the ground either.

I want their to be a 5 way tie in the Big East. All teams with only 4 wins in the Big East.

Brotzman got a standing O when he was introduced on senior day in Boise. Classy move.

Not a fan of Oregon or Oregon State's uniforms. What's up with Oregon State's helmets?

Oregon's are hideous. Oregon St. though I think are pretty cool.

Nice recovery by Oregon St

We've seen some combination of these Oregon helmets before. I've always liked their helmets.

Oregon ST is wearing some throwback from the 60s, I love those helmets with the flat paint.

Oregon's uniforms are hideous.

I disagree. Rest of the uniform is meh for Oregon, but those helmets are sick.

If only Oregon State had a quarterback, they could actually take advantage of all these turnovers. Their QB has exhibited a low trajectory, inaccuracy, and not much of an arm. They should switch to the backup, IMO. He can't be much worse.

He hit the wheel route!

He executed a couple times on that drive, but I still think he stinks with the happy feet, missing a screen pass, and almost throwing an interception.

Who was the last good Jewish quarterback? I did a search and the only Jewish QB in the NFL right now is mighty Bruce Gradkowski. Quarterbacking is not their forte.

The more I watch of Casey the more I want him, he has the same motor and instincts that Clay has and appears to have very high football IQ.
