GT: Hornets vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Sat Dec 4, 2010 9:59 pm

When: 7:00 PM ET, December 5, 2010
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

VS

Starting Lineups:

Hornets:
PG - Chris Paul
SG - Marco Belinelli
SF - Trevor Ariza
PF - David West
C - Emeka Okafor

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

The Hornets are struggling right now, they've lost 5 of their last 7 and we need to jump on them while they're down. As always we're going to have to stop the Paul/West pick and roll. If we play like we did last time we faced the Hornets we should have no problem winning this game.

Go Spurs!!

Yeah they have been struggling lately, though we've been slightly shaky, losing to the Clips and having to come back from 15 down to take out the Wolves. Although I feel slightly weird calling us shaky at 16-3.

We've got to limit CP getting into the paint and keep Okafor off the boards.

We've already played these guys and the Clips 3 times and it's barely December.

Not feeling good. We got our revenge last game. It's probably their turn. But at the same time, it's at home right? We already lost once at home to them. I have a hard time seeing them beat us twice at home.

Up 53-29 with 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

This is the domination I expect out of the Spurs.

We are dominating them right now. We're playing great defense and Bonner's on fire from 3.

It's not common to watch a team so on fire and playing great D.
Though we didn't make a FG in the last 5 mins..

Pop, please, give Splitter some minutes!!

Spurs are putting on a clinic early. Doing it from both ends of the floor. Lets come out strong wrap this game up and let the reserves have 20 plus mins.

Great win tonight. We murdered them on both ends and the bench played amazing.

Holy crap, Red Rocket was on fire!!! Our long range shooting is deadly this year!

17-3. I knew we'd be a force this year, but not to this extent.
