Should the Thunder trade James Harden

Post#1 » by eagleye » Sat Nov 27, 2010 12:18 am

Harden has not been playing too well and he is looking like a bit of a bust to me

maybe the Thunder should include him in a package with Jeff Green and get back a player to play Center for the Thunder

What do you think the problems in Hardens game are????

No we shouldn't trade Harden. And it's not just Harden playing bad, but the team is too. Harden just needs to get more minutes on the court.

Harden has confidence issues. I think he'll get through them, but he might not. Either way, you don't trade a #3 pick a quarter way through his second season.

I'd give him up for a SIGNIFICANT upgrade at SG, or PF/C. I don't think we'd get that for him.

Trading him would be an over reaction. U have to think the kid (only 23 yrs) has started his whole life and been the vocal point. The Thunder as a whole need to get him some high% shots early and often once he comes off the bench. He is a legit NBA player. When talking about trading players I do not see Durant, Westbrook, Green, Ibaka, Harden, Thabo, or Collison being delt (the Thunder team that I see has some serious off the court chemistry). I can see maynor traded to get a legit big man but, I think Sammy would flot around more than Maynor is worth before he traded Maynor.

If he could net you Iguodala, would you do it? Westbrook/Iguodala/Durant backcourt is HUGE and strong.

That's tough. Adding Iggy's $$$ would mean we're unable to bolster the front court, and it's looking rather likely that this may be necessary. Especially center.

I don't think I'd do it, but I still have dreams for Marc Gasol.

I'd trade him for Demarcus Cousins in a heartbeat!

Would Sac trade Cousins since he is becoming a problem child? How would Harden work with Evans?

True that but he is 4th options on scoring ,undersized at the 2. A very good fit , a very good player that could develop more on another team !

I'd go for Harden being traded to Sac for Cousins or Thompson !

James Harden has been playing much better lately, and he is 21. He wont be traded.
