Bunch of Magic player sick: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=5883098

Two great comments:

that is what happens when you share the same sickly girls throughout the team! lol

If Vince Carter gets it he'll be out 6 months

If this happens to us, I doubt we'd hit 50 points in a game.

Jeez you'd think they'd at least let me read the posts.

So what i need you to do is repost everything from that board on here and then I'll respond and you post it there.

I bet if you log out you'll be able to read them.

Nope, can't read the off-topic section when you're logged out.

Yeah I got killed in fantasy last night because Nelson was out and so was Durant.

Wish our team would get the flu. A nice 10 game losing streak would do wonders for our draft position.

We don't need a team flu for that. We have Larry Brown. He's like the black plague. He can engineer a 10 game losing streak using the power of his own ego and stupidity.

Although I am nowhere near as down on Brown as you are, I do feel we are in need of a new direction/playing style. I'm someone who 99.9% of the time will always blame the players first. And what I see is a team that is not playing any defense at key moments during games. That is not the fault of LB. It comes down to how bad do you want to win. I say this because we're in almost every game, (even against the Hornets) we just can't get the defensive stops at the most crucial times of the game.

And everyone all of a sudden is blaming LB for TT being on the bench, but hello....dude plays turnstile defense a lot of the time. You don't get rewarded for crappy defense and unaggressive play. He needs to learn to BRING IT every game, not just once a week. Thats what WINNING teams do, they rarely have effortless nights. DJ let Dumbo drop 16 and 10 on him last night. It's all about effort and consistency, and so far this team has let LB and the fans down, not the other way around.

Pretty much. Tyrus is good for his bench energy skills; if you let him play 30m+ each game, you're going to start seeing the same issues he had in Chicago. LB's made many dumb decisions but players ultimately have to play the game.

Oh yea, this SEC Championship game is pissing me off. Hail Mary Auburn? Seriously? **** me. We're seeing the same thing here; great coaching by Steve Spurrier and these boys are playing like **** on defense. Not his fault; guys aren't playing nearly as well as they should be.

Could CBS have kissed Cam Newton's ass any more?

Anyway, something tells me South Carolina will be crowned 2010 SEC Champs in a few years...

Yup, I'm not even mad about it. If you're going to punish USC for Reggie Bush, how in the hell can you not get Newton? IMO, I figure that Auburn will eventually have to give up the SEC Championship and the possible National Championship but the SEC, BCS, nor NCAA wanted to end up with TCU in the National Championship game. That national championship game garners too much money. Same reason they waited several years to pursue the Reggie Bush issue.

It still doesn't excuse the fact that the Gamecocks played poorly.

I think Bogut showed the true value of Gortat today.

He's just an expensive backup

Damn guys, we should have waited on the franchise for six years. Since the NBA is purchasing the Hornets, they could have moved them back to Charlotte. Oh well. :(

We cant be the Clippers, we dont have enough talent XD. If we even had half the talent of the Clippers we would be headed for the playoffs. I mean with Bledsoe, Gordon, Griffin, and Kaman... Pff Nba Championship

I think New Orleans deserves to have a franchise though. I say they sell it to someone in NO.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
