We could draft a QB in a very deep QB draft (Locker, Mallett, Luck, Newton, maybe Foles comes out).
We could trade for or sign a guy who is questionable to start next year (Campbell, Stanton, Alex Smith, Rosenfels, Seneca Wallace).

Schefter reporting it will take 2 1sts to get Kolb, don't know if I buy it or not. If Luck is gone when the Cards pick I'd consider their likely to be very high pick for Kolb. Luck is really the only QB coming out I'd be interested in, rather just sign a FA and try to develop Skelton while filling other holes.

Two firsts is ridiculous.

Of the teams with records as bad or worse than ours, Buffalo and Carolina are the only two teams I can see taking Luck, and I would lean towards, "no" with Carolina as well. My fear would be someone trading up to snag him. If he's gone, I'd much rather grab whoever falls the farthest of Newton/Mallett/Foles/Locker than waste a top 10 pick on one of them.

Foles ain't going to declare he isn't in the other players league. I just think the other QBs are too big of projects to use a top pick on. May as well sign a guy like Bulger or something and try to develop Skelton, if there is even a season next year.

I'm mentally hedging. If he goes (and I don't think he will), then I comfort myself by thinking we could snag him. If he doesn't, then I'm happy as an Arizona fan. Win/win.

Skelton is the best qb on the team. D.O.A should've been benched a long time ago.

I wish it was as simple as playing the best QB and all troubles will go away but the issue is deeper than that.
