It's at least worth a phone call. There's just no way he's not on the block. He got 16 minutes tonight. I'm sure Kahn will at least call them up to see what it would take. Fit or no fit, if they're having an OJ Mayo sale, might as well at least check it out.

But honestly what's the point? He would make the defence worse, he's not going to improve the play making from the backcourt and the team doesn't need another player that can't get to the FT line.

eh...yeah, not saying I'd give up a lot for him, but if the price was low enough...like cap space and a 2nd. I guess that would gum up our rotation even more. Whatever. I don't know.

Re: time to go after Mayo
If it was capspace and a 2nd I'd do it, play him massive minutes until his numbers are up and then flip him to another team for something good.
Or at least I would on 2k11

I'm pretty sure he would improve the playmaking in the backcourt. He's far better at creating his own shot than any SG we currently have.

Re: time to go after Mayo
By play making, I was talking about distributing the ball. And while he's a better shot creator then Johnson it doesn't necessarily create opportunities for others. 9 times out of 10 it leads to a contested pull up because he can't beat his man off the dribble so...yeah, I guess he improves it, but not enough to be worth trading valuable assets for.

I think he's a pretty decent passer too, at least he was coming out of college.

I'd take Mayo. Seems fitting on a tam full of reclamation projects.

If the only difference between what it would take to get Mayo and what it would take to get Iggy is cap space in addition to whatver assets are included, i'd rather have Iggy.
