As Boston fan, my neutral look on PHI trade options is this:

PHI:CLE

Two part trade:

1)
Iguodala
for
CLE 14,5 mil TPE

2)
Jamison, Hickson, Eyenga, 2011 CLE lottery protected first, Moon
for
Brand, Nocioni

PHI goes into total rebuild getting rid of Brand and Nocioni 23,7 mil 2011 salaries+ Brand 18 mil 2012 salary FOR 15 mil Jamison 2011 exp. salary.
Iggy is basically traded for Hickson, Eyenga and 2011 first.

Cleveland goes for 6-8 seed in Eastern playoffs.

IMO THIS IS GREAT TRADE FOR BOTH TEAMS.

Back when Raptors had the #1 pick, I wanted them to take LaMarcus Alridge to play next to Chris Bosh. Chris Bosh at the time became a player that shoots mid-range jumpers and drive less and less. I was hoping they would get a better inside presence. Little did I know, they took a chance on Andre Bargnani. I thought Raptors was stupid and would live to regret it.

Fast forward to the present, LaMarcus Alridge plays the exact same way Chris Bosh does, only not as good. He's more of a face to the basket player shooting mid-range jumpers as well for the most part. I would rather seek a player that could provide us a more inside presence than Alridge.

I don't want to get rid of Iggy just to get rid of Brand. Plus I don't think I want anyone off of the Cavs after they basically let LeBron clown them on Thursday.

Lord knows I have zero sources when it comes to the Sixers. Just thought it was a team that might be interested based off them having pieces we could use while having a use for Iguodala.

Utah has nothing of interest outside of Williams, Jefferson, and Millsap. In other words nothing that they can offer us.

Right, Kirilenko's gigantic expiring contract is of no interest.

and you just named close to 1/4 of the team right there.

Gortat makes this a better team then Iggy does by far.

I like that expiring. But we need a big man.

Whether you like it or not, Iggy is still our best overall player and to move your best player for anything else but something that is needed (center) will just set us back another couple years. There are no legit FA Centers this summer that i know of.

+1 but i would also consider Mayo or Aminu type of players even if they are not centers

27 year old top 40 players aren't dumped for pure cap space. We need expirings AND a future starter in this league, or a pick that can get us one. Or maybe someone of a similar caliber like Jefferson or Millsap. So yes, nothing that Utah can or will give us for Iguodala...

Why were these threads combined? Now we have to sift through all the garbage trade proposals to search for the actual legit rumors?

magic fan here, and i didnt want to start a new thread on this subject so i'll go ahead and post my offer in here:

magic trade:
ryan anderson
vince carter
daniel orton

sixers trade:
andre iguodala
darius songaila

sixers get a big that can shoot and is a very good rebounder considering he's a stretch 4. you also get a young prospect center in orton and an expiring in vince (TO after this year) who you can waive or buyout. if not that trade, how about:

magic trade:
marcin gortat
chris duhon
jj redick
daniel orton

sixers trade:
andre iguodala
tony battie
louis williams

you get a starting level center for the MLE for the next 3 and a half years, as well as a shooter (which you do need) , as well as a back up pg and a project center.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

I'm not really interested in expiring deals, i would rather get players back and maybe a draft pick.

The players i would go hard after are Mayo and Love. We need a big man and a SG. Mayo would be great in the backcourt with Jrue IMO.

Thorn denies that the team is shopping Iguodala ...

The Philadelphia 76ers are not trying to trade star wing Andre Iguodala, team president Rod Thorn told the Philadelphia Intelligencer.
In an e-mail to the Intelligencer, Thorn said the team is "trying to ascertain the value of all of our players. Big difference."

On Sunday, the Lorain Morning Journal reported that the 76ers were trying to deal Iguodala, but also said there were no active talks between the Philadelphia and Cleveland.
Iguodala is averaging 14.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.4 assists this season for the Sixers, who are 6-14 on the season.
