I liked that he looked frustrated out on the field at times. Even when he had a 10 yard gain once he got up and was upset with himself, like he knew he could have done better.

He's still getting his legs back I'm sure and it was his first game. I think he's going to be just fine. Hopefully he can stay healthy and be with us during the playoffs, it would be a huge help.

I think we went away from the run too much last game, IMO. Should have kept pounding it from start to finish.

Im guessing he said hes gotta highstep those a bit more to avoid the shoestring tackles and trip ups?

I'm pretty excited for Starks. You can see why TT was hesitant to offer much for a running back at the trade deadline.

Rodgers is still sneaking into the captain's picture. :)

That has to be some sort of running joke with him and the team.

It's been posted a while ago, but backup QBs are supposed to slip in the photos. I guess Rodgers just has that dedication. :D

packers

From Elias: The Packers’ one turnover in the past five games is the fewest over a five-game span in the same season in franchise history.

I just watched Starks' postgame lockerroom interview. Seems very well grounded, but LOL @ him giving all the credit to the oline. Dude has to know they suck.

Also if Starks can make it so we can keep defenses honest, I think you can throw us back into the Superbowl talk. We have some nice play action sets, so hopefully we can get back to running those

Obviously time will tell over the rest of the year if Starks can become the main ball carrier, but one thing i did notice on Sunday was that nearly every down that he was in the game, McCarthy handed him the ball. Only once or twice did they pass, my guess for that is the coaches don't fully trust him in protection.

If i picked up on that, i'm sure opposing defensive coaches will also and will key more on the run when Starks enters the game if that continues. That said, it could open up play action which would be a pleasant development because on one of the few plays McCarthy didn't call a run with Starks in the game, it resulted in the long pass to Jennings that he got to the 2 yard line off play action.
