Tip of the cap to LD. The Hawks first win in Orlando since 08. LD did a great job of mixing and matching with the line-up.

On defense, Marvelous knows what to do and does it with confidence. On offense ... his head's so messed up, he's the little engine that couldn't.

I didn't think Marvin looked that good when guarding VC today...but it's a tough matchup for a 3 to guard a 2.

I loved when the commentators starting making fun of Marvin's walking, saying he looks like an old man. I'm so sick of him limping around the court doing nothing, and then high-fiveing all the guys on the bench when he comes off like he has contributed.

Great to finally get a win against a good team - especially orlando. LD made really good rotations tonight. Collins was great. Powell continues to be very effective. Also good to see our three best active players all play well at the same time.

ORL loses and has a 32-page (and counting) thread on the game. We win and .... [crickets].

We had better participation when we were losing.

The team manned up in a big way tonight. Smoove and Horford put the team on their backs for most of the night and Bibby and Crawford stuck daggers in the Magic's heart in the 4th. Their lines may not look so sharp but they were big when we needed them. Collins worked his rear end off (again, the #s don't tell the story). I was worried when he let VC draw a foul on a drive to the basket - he shoulda fouled and wrapped up.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Why does Marvin even bother attempting 3-pointers? I gave him credit in the past for working hard at improving on this area of his game, but it appears he's not working hard on it during the present time, and yet he went 0-2 tonight.

Josh Smith went 1-4, but Marvin bothers me more, because Josh has been making them at a high percentage this season. I'm reading more and more about how people are upset about Josh attempting them, but the pressure should be on Marvin.

If Cleveland is truly interested in Marvin Williams we need to work a trade.

I found myself wondering if Marvin could put enough good games together to get any trade interest. He's making a lot more salary than his contribution on either end justifies. He's good on defense, but not what I'd call lock down and at 2-3 times the market rate for a stopper.

Even after going 1-4 tonight Josh is shooting 43% from 3 pt range. 2nd to only Bibby on the team. My only complaint would be that sometimes he shoots the 3 too quickly without making the defense work. Marvin is should 22%, Joe 26% and Mo 29%. Joe has an excuse but Mo and Marvin are getting mostly open look, catch and shoot 3s which should make for an even higher percentage. Josh has obviously worked hard on his shooting and his whole game. He's earned the right to shoot those 3s by making them. I understand that Marvin continues to work on his degree each summer, but maybe he should spend a little more time working on his current career. I get the feeling he's just happy where he's at as a player and that's not what we need from him.

No one attempts more borderline 3s than Marvin. He needs to either drive or pass. He settles for long jumpers way to often.

His 3s are always open, he just misses.

I miss the Josh highlight reel dunks. Weve only gotten like 2 of those this season.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.
