Poor decision making, a me first attitude, is under sized...........

Poor decision making.....damn, he is the best player on that team, if he doesnt take over, Huskies lose 80% of their games. Under sized????? He's the same height as Chris Paul.

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Kemba-Walker-5152/

Keep hatin...it's all good.

Adam Morrison had a natural talent, fierce determination to improve, and an unparalleled desire to win. He was a bust
.

I'm surprised you fancy yourself a "scout" when you compare him to Walker. He never had half the offensive game Walker has. Morrison was a one trick pony.

You're talking to the guy who called Derrick Rose being a star-----when he was in high school.

Dude seriously, Rose was well know in circles where i come from, even in high school. He was like LeBron, a sure fire star.

Paul is a completely different player than Walker. How do you harp on the Morrison comparison (one that is certainly true) and then compare him to Paul?

1. Natural talent--anybody who says Ammo didn't have loads of natural talent is a doofus
2. Fierce determination to improve--He started his career as an unknown and ended up being the National POTY and leading scorer in the nation, while simultaneously putting Gonzaga on the map
3. Unparalleled desire to wiin--This is the guy who CRIED on the court after he lost a game. 'nuff said

You never said anything about athleticism?

And Morrison just didn't cry, he wailed like a bitch. It takes a man to pull that off on national television.

PS: Since we're waving our amateur scouting dicks, I thought I'd add that I properly called Odon a bust back when he was drafted and I said that Eric Gordon was better than OJ Mayo. Where's my prize? :P

Totally different body types. Paul is a lot stockier than Walker.

Ishmael Smith is listed as the same height and weight as Paul but you wouldn't say they play the same size.

Would you?

First off I would like to say that Morrison played NOTHING like Walker does and had a VERY different skill set. Walker does not soely rely on Med-long range scoring, he is perfectly happy with taking the ball to the paint and laying it up, however this is coupled with a GREAT mid range game. Morrison could NOT defend, could NOT layup well, could NOT pass, could NOT handle the ball as well, could NOT score in the paint.... should I say more?

Kemba Walker as I stated plays similarly to AI in some ways, he is a hard player to label as I could honestly see him shifting in and out of the PG-SG positions, this adds yet another thing Morrison wasnt, Versitiliy. Not to mention Morrison wasnt the type of leader that Walker is. Furthermore Kemba accels in one specific department that makes him perfect for our team, aggressiveness, the man isnt afraid to take over a game if everyone else is failing..... Just what we need. Finally Kemba's situation is similar to ours in that the majority of UConn's starters are underperfroming and generally shaky on O, however the Huskies are yet to lose..... Please dont joke with me about scouting, I know my way around and I have called some of the more difficult calls, my latest project is DWilliams (who shouldnt go to bobcats)

----------------------------------
Moving on
Players Im not set on:

Terrence Jones: I love the kid, dont get me wrong. One day he will be an all-star but for another team. LB tends to go very hard on rookies and with Jones inexperience and youth it could break him....

Enes Kanter: I dont believe in Euro players or ppl who dont play in US colleges for the MOST part, this guy is no exception. I could be wrong, but we shall see.

Harrison Barnes: Guy needs to man up, or man out..... He is turning into a dissapointment, but he does have great skills, rather he needs to do something that Kemba is, he needs to take control of his team.

Say what you want but Walker will do just fine in the NBA, meanwhile until Barnes proves anything the Bust alarm is on. So far I guess I can say Kyrie Irving is a sure pick for a great player. Another great player should be Terrence Jones, another Sullinger.
----------------
Damn I just cant let this go XD: Slam on the comment of poor decisions I know what you mean, except that his decision making has improved ALOT this year....
___________
Btw some efficient players so far are:

*(MY MAN)Derrick Williams
: is shooting 67% from the field, 80% from 3's, not to mention a 79% free throw rating. (10th in league from the field)
Austin Freeman: is shooting 57% from the field and 54% from beyond the arch, as well as 54% from 3.
___________________
Derrick Williams becomes even more impressive, what a year for him, hes averaging 20ppg and 7rpg extremely efficiently.

Agreed Walker's decision making has improved, but it's still not great.

Just like TJ Ford.

Can look like an All Star one possession and a D leaguer the next.

Very much looking forward to checking out "your man" Derrick Williams though. Like to get a read on him. Haven't had an Arizona game on TV up here yet though.

Irving is out indefinitely with a toe injury? I was looking forward to watching him tonight against Bradley.

:(

Guess I will watching T.Jones and Kentucky at 9:30pm instead (after watching Walker and UConn now)

And his impact was even more greater than those numbers would lead you to believe (as impressive as they are).

Duke freshman point guard Kyrie Irving, an early favorite for national freshman of the year, could miss the rest of the season with a right toe injury suffered in the second half of Saturday's win against Butler.

If it's true about Kyrie, he's not entering the draft next year.
