This is NY. You don't realize that the US is jealous of NY sports?

Majority of blame goes to Sanchez. He was way off yesterday. I looked at all 3 of those picks and they were underthrown balls. All 3 of them.

As much as we got raped, it's only one loss. We'll come back and beat Miami at home while Chicago handles New England at home, then all will be right in the world again. Pats then have Green Bay next while we prolly lose another tough one in Pittsburgh. We'll have to pray that Aaron Rogers and crew are up for that challenge. All-in-all, this is not over. I suspect Rex is prolly rippin' some new **** this morning.

I know it was a long time ago but seriously why did we get rid of Woodhead? He was the best RB in that competition. Better than Washington and McKnight and Tanny just dropped him. I was bitter about that move then and I still am now. We had our Welker and we give him to the Patriots. SMH.

colin cowherd is a huge fan of sanchez and pointed out two things bout the jets and sanchez..

when the jets have extended time off, they struggle the next game. coming off the buy we lose to the packers 9-0

longer layoff due to thanksgiving day game, we get steamrolled by patsies..

On sanchez: He is one of the best bounce back players.. after having a subpar game, his QB rating the next game is damn good... the kid is a huge bounceback player.. expect a big game in miami...

I've never seen a team play so poorly on extended time. We may be better off without the bye in the playoffs. Can't believe I'm saying that.

Sanchez was really bad.

We should have exploited the run D but we put ourselves in a hole early with weak defense. I didn't like Rex's early challenge or his long FG attempt with a Kicker who has been terrible lately. All of the buried us momentum wise.

Thats the pattern the Jets need to be consisten in everything and thast includes practice time. They cant get long breaks. They gotta stay fresh. But this blowout was because they were facing a new offense. They switched up everything after Moss left.

The problem isnt that we got blown out but against whom it happened. It seems crystal clear that the road to the Super Bowl will go through NE and so far nobody has shown that they can really shut down or limit their new scheme with all those underneath receivers and two TE sets. Pittsburgh's great defense also looked terrible against those Pats a couple of weeks ago.

Now here is how I see it, we certainly have the quality in the secondary to match up with the Pats but we dont have the pass rush or talent upfront. We cant get pressure without sending more than six players on a blitz. Pittsburgh on the other hand has a great front seven with big time pass rushers but they have terrible corners who cant stay with anybody for long (except for Ike Taylor).

Now we wont have new personnel for the playoffs but Rex has to scheme around his lack of defensive speed and talent. Have more guys standing up, use different blitzes, use Revis differently... whatever. Thats what he's paid for and him being a defensive genius, there is no way in hell something like MNF should happen. I hope he can roll something out the next time we face these guys, if we do...

The matchups with Baltimore or Pittsburgh dont really scare me. We can stop their run and their offenses arent close to being as precise and well schemed as NE. We atleast will be able to hang with these guys. But NE was in a different stratosphere yesterday.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...
