It's just the basics of the trade, other players, picks, other expring's can be added.

Ellis
B.Wright ( still young and unproven probably needs a fresh start somewhere )
Biedrins
Radmanovic (expiring)

For

Iggy
Brand

He is as good as gone. When the experiment went bad with ET, Iggy, and Jrue in the same backcourt. Which of the 3 would you get rid of? Exec's from around the NBA said that the 3 wouldn't work. Well at least ET and Iggy wouldn't. So who would you get rid of? Of course Iggy, a player that has reached his max potential and is overpaid. Who still can't shoot the ball. This team will be alot better when he is gone and ET is allowed to fulfill the role he is suppose to.

That is the most one sided trade I've ever seen on this board. :lol

Kings fan here. I posted this on the other thread but it got closed. What do u guys think of this trade

Kings: Iggy & Songaila/Kapono
Sixers: Landry, Casspi/Greene & 2012 top 5 protected 1st round pick

Kings also own Bucks' 2nd rounders next two years, so they can throw in some of them

If it's a 2011 pick, yes. We'd have to swing pretty much everyone in the deal elsewhere. I'd rather see Whiteside in the deal than 2nds since we need a C.

That deal would really depend on what Landry's value is elsewhere, especially since i don't think Casspi/Greene or that pick hold significant value. If we could turn Landry into a long term piece then yeah I'd do it with some 2nds thrown in, but I really don't think Landry is going to return anything of value.

The Sacramento trade is a good idea. I like Landry a lot and I think Casspi has some value as well.

Would think Iguodala brings more than that from Sacramento...Thompson/Whiteside/Greene or Casspi and the #1 sounds better than what is being proposed. Really don't even need the SFs in the deal.

I didn't realize Iguodala was that special of a player.

We need a center. If its not for a center, then we should just do a pick and salary dump. We don't need a PF, PG, or SF. A good SG or C would be ideal. But more then anything, we need a big man.

Its at least a respectable deal. I to like Landry, but hes kind of undersized and we have enough of that. Only averages 5 or 6 boards i think, Thad can a least do that. He does play good D tho. I would pass.

We very much need a PF. Brand is the best 4 on this team. Think about that a bit. Arguably, you could make Thad a PF if you keep him but he's not a starter there. IMO, if you trade Iguodala it would be to make Turner your starting 3, as his skill set hasn't shown him to be a future starting SG in the NBA (bad off the ball, not a great range) which would keep Thad on the bench. I do like the length we could have with Turner at the point and Thad on the wing.

IMO we aren't going to make a "turn around the franchise" kind of deal moving AI, if we can get a decent looking young 2 or big, some cap space or draft picks you make the deal.

So you want 3 prospects and a 1st? good luck with that

Theres rumors Houston wants him back, so I'd say you guys can get Budinger or Lee or go for a big man prospect in Jordan Hill by trading Landry to Houston

Brand is a better then average PF. He is also not going anywhere. SO unless you want to stick 17m on the bench. Then trade for another PF. But our biggest problem is having no interior defense and a true SG that can extend the floor. Or a SF that can extend the floor.
Our lineup of is like the harlem globetrotters doing the weave, where we have ET, Iggy, and Jrue all waiting for someone to shoot the ball. All ball handlers and no shooters. Meeks hopefully can stay there.

No I'd rather ship Elton Brand off to who ever will take him. And if we can't unload him, the overwhelmings odds are we aren't going to win before his contract expires. All that said, I want a 4 or a 5.

+1 Soren. Until we can unload Brand, we won't be winning anytime soon.

Not quite...those would be pieces. Thompson/Whiteside and a lottery porotected 1 isn't too crazy. Not sure what the Sixers would do with Landry and Casspi/Greene. Lou Will is probably a better fit in Sac...not sure why they would want Iguodala next to Evans.
