This time assistant coach Tom Barisse was there. Looks like the Nets are making sure to have some kind of NBA level authority there, which is what I was initially concerned about.

He took some questionable shots, but he looked very good. He seemed to have more time and space to work with, but that might be more indicative of the competition he was playing against and the defense in the D League not being as good as the defense in the NBA.

Good to see him getting to the the line and hitting his FT's.

I think the biggest challenge with T.Will is that he is more geared to be "the man" on a team than a role player if you want to truly maximize his potential.

I agree with this in the sense that he needs to have the ball in his hands (whether or not he's the one shoting it).

For that reason, I disagree that when he comes back he should start. He needs to come off the bench, and HAS to be in the game whenever Harris is on the bench. He and Farmar can be on the court together.

Which is exactly the kind of player the Nets need right now. Even with Harris healthy, I feel that, if T-Will's head is on straight, he's our best playmaker.

ohhh the potential...I truly hope we see it consistently and the Nets are able to take advantage of it...then again, there might be a long road ahead of us if Twill is looking to jack up threes all night...cut that 12 into half in the NBA, thats 6 3pt attempts...I mean he shouldnt be looking for that shot more than once or twice a night in the NBA if he really wants to be the player we think he can be...drive the ball ALL NIGHT!

A couple of things after watching the game:

- A few of those 3's were buzzer beaters.
- None of them were forced
- He actually had 27 shot attempts on the game, so less than half of them were from range.
- 5-12 is still 42% - and there aint nothing wrong with that clip!!
- He also shot 9 free throws (hitting 7) which shows he was doing all sorts of scoring including driving.

He's shooting 42% from the floor and 50% from three (not to mention 80% from the line!!) over his three D League games but if you take his 1st game out where he went 5-19, he's shooting 49% from the floor and 52% from three (and 85% from the line).

Plus all the boards and assists.

Not fair to judge him while faced against the potent Maine Red Claw defense.

I didn't. I posted his numbers including his first game - which were good, but pointed out that excluding his 1st game his numbers were outstanding.

It's not unrealistic to expect his first game to be a little sketchy though considering he didn't know any of the plays, his team mates etc.
