If we get the number 1 pick and he comes in for a workout then we'll find out what he thinks about the city.

man i didn't know he was half-Australian :o

Australia should give him a Boomers jersey. Irving to Bogut/Jawai/Andersen alley-oop! That'd be nice.

Now I really hope we get him

 he was born there because his dad's basketball career took him there. If anything he would have been born in the states. Also when was Australia a part of Europe

If Raps don't happen to get Irving or Barnes then i think long and hard for Terrence Jones SF at Kentucky has been beasting it up so far at 18 years old averaging close to 20ppg, 10rpg, 2apg, 2.3bpg, 1.4spg. He's going to be a stud i can see it, not many young 18 year olds can put up these kind of stats and a solid all around player can player anywhere from 1-4.

So far i have my top 5-6 in order Irving, Terrence Jones, Barnes, Perry Jones, Knight, Walker.
Barnes has been playing off this year and Walker is playing out of his mind basketball.

Imagine a lineup next year of:
Bayless
DeRozan
Jones
Davis
Bargnani

-They can surely do some damages.

Didn't you hear?

As per Raps RealGM geography, anyone from outside the lower 48 states (including Alaska and Hawaii) is a Euro.

Is this really a shock? He dropped 30+ on Michigan St. and dominated in virtually all aspects of the game. He not only is a better defender than he was in high school, but he has improved his jump shooting and decision making. Irving is the most complete player in the country right now coming into the NBA.

Compare him to Joe Jackson, Cory Joseph, Brandon Knight, and other freshman point guards and it is clear that he is in a class of his own.

regardless of our record we will not get the number 1 pick so get that out of your heads people. Next in line to get the number 1 pick will be the new jersey nets who are moving to brooklyn and they need a star to make that transition easy. We had our chance 5 years ago and the NBA will not let us take Kyrie. We face too many odds here and you should be concentrating on Barnes a more realistic chance cause he could fall and hes currently number 3.

Considering the lottery is not rigged, I think that the Raptors may have an outside shot at the first pick. And who knows whether or not that will be Irving. So much can change from now until the end of the season.

Believe what you want why would the NBA gives us the number 1 pick in the 2006 draft when there were no clear number 1? They know we will be fine cause we are the 4th largest market in the league and we sell out the place win or lose. Cleveland got lebron cause there were not selling out the place and the nba was losing revenue. So dream on and keep going to raptor games david stern is all smiles!

Yes I'm sure the law firms and lawyers that orchestrate the draft are willing to risk their buisness/right to practice law by rigging the draft. And I'm sure the billionaire owners/some of the smartest buisnessmen in the world never bothered to check if the draft is fair.

Btw. If you're going to come up with a conspiracy theory it should atleast make sense, and be consistant. Your 1st post you said that Brooklyn will get a star because they are in a big market. Cool... Now you say that the draft was rigged in favor of Cleveland,, and big markets are fine without stars? The NBA would make far more money if they drafted LBJ to a big market.

So basically no matter what happens in the draft you can find a way that it supports your theory?

Did you watch him at Ohio St? Only this season (and the end of last year) has he made any strides with his shot. You're off by a lot in this comparison. Irving has better vision, a more accurate shot, more range, better handles, and is better on defense. That's pretty much every aspect of the game.
