Murphy????

Post#1 » by JohnnyKILLroy » Wed Dec 8, 2010 4:21 pm

I bought low on Murphy for my fantasy team. I figured he's just way too talented to rot away for much longer.

What would you all as Nets fans attribute his lack of production too?

Avery is a bit of a hardass but Murphy doesn't seem like a problem type of player.

Is he out of shape?

Any word on trading him?

Any and all input would be appreciated.

When his shot isn't falling (which it hasn't at all this entire season so far) he's useless. He's a terrible defender as well and since Kris Humphries is the definition of hustle, Avery prefers to play him. Favors is also getting the bulk of backup minutes at the 4.. rightfully so.

As for trading him, I do think we need to ship his ass out of here. The last thing this team needs is to be labeled a career killer for benching a 14,10 career guy because of journeyman and a 19 year old rookie... even though he deserves it.

Its quite ironic actually, Murphy use to kill the Nets when he was on the Pacers but he is still killing the Nets but now hes just wearing the red and blue. Murphy was never intended to be here if you think about it now that we realized he sucks. He was just an expiring/ trading piece. No need to love or hate the guy.
