Because he is streaky and can be lazy at times.

When he attacks the basket, he starts to score more and does better. At times he gets lazy and starts to chuck three's, which Sloan pulls him out of the game quickly.

 I take that back about CJ not being worthy of a fantasy basketball spot. I recently picked him up and he's help me a bit in the points and 3's. I'm in a 12-team league, so he's been a big 2nd/utility help.

Here's how frequent our guys shoot (FGA per 36 minutes):
Miles 16.2
Williams 14.6
Evans 14.4 (not enough minutes to even out yet)
Millsap 13.7
Jefferson 13.6
Price 10.6
Fesenko 9.9
Kirilenko 9.5
Hayward 9.8
Bell 3.4
Elson 3.2
Watson 1.7

Miles should not be shooting the ball the most per minute for this Jazz team. Kirilenko and Bell should be taking some of his shots, and Miles should learn how to be more effective in a limited role. But I do like that he is able to create a shot once in a while, and that he is dialing in from range.

Thing is that Miles is usually the anchor on offense when he's out there, while Williams has a bunch of options so he doesn't need to take as many shots.

Woof. I just mocked my friend who picked CJ up, even in a deep league.

CJ's been fine, I just hope he stays committed on defense. I looked like he shut Rudy Gay down last time he checked him. He can chuck it a little at times, but he seems to be steadily improving his consistency.

He's been shooting way too many 3's is the problem. considering he shoots just 31% from downtown he might want to re-consider his shot selection. just saying.

Because he is inefficient, inconsistent and only works hard in the off season every 1 in 5 years.

CJ is the greediest player on the Jazz. If there's a breakaway and he has the ball, he'll try to make a contested shot instead of passing it to a team mate for an open shot.

His hustle is amazing, and he never gets injured as much as you'd expect.

Scoring, I love the guy, and hate him at the same time. Consistency is his biggest issue.

He's just a guy you hate to love and love to hate.

I want him gone as soon as possible.

Yep. In one of Memo's few games this season there was a play that was reminiscent of the Sundiata Gaines shot. Remember that one? Memo had a look for three but passed it to Gaines, who had a better look in the corner. In this recent game CJ was in Memo's spot, elbow extended at the three point-line and Memo was in the corner, wide open. I thought for sure CJ would pass it to Memo for the open look, but no, CJ took the shot and missed badly.

I know that's just one play, but we've seen that sort of crap from CJ far too often.
