On Tuesday, ESPNDallas.com reported that the 34-year-old third baseman could be available in the right trade. Young is owed $48 million for the next three years and the move would allow the Jays to leave major-league home run leader Jose Bautista in right field.

Interesting article. I for one would love to see Michael Young in a Jays uniform. He is a guy who consistantly hits for a great average, and has some pop in his bat from time to time. As well, I think it would do great things for Vernon Wells.
