Young, who can block trades to all but eight teams, was the subject of speculation Tuesday after team president Nolan Ryan said the club would listen to offers for Young. Reports later surfaced that the Rangers and Rockies had begun discussing a Young trade.


There does seem to be whispers.. there are other reports saying it's not happening, etc.. He doesn't want to play anywhere else though.

3 yrs at $16M/yr? He can stay in Texas. Absurd notion.
