sorry I have to agree, the Cavs wouldn't have won it regardless, and the Celtics would have probably still one, but that isn't the point, LeBron has ruined the league.. he's ruined his already self absorbed profile.. he's ruined any relationship he had with the Cavaliers and ex team mates.. he's ruined free agency.. he's ruined what the game is about..

I still hope Joachim Noah KOs the guy into next week next time he plays the bulls.. the whole show boat and dancing is and was a disgrace.. the guys a great player, but someone you hate to watch show boat what he thinks he has by dancing around like a fool.. that cut me deep.. then to see his whole tv show on where he's going .. that's a joke.. who does he really think he is? As easy it is for me to say, I would never want rose to win a ring with James because I'd rather see rose win it off his own bat as oppose to claiming a cheap and tainted ring... James took the easy way out and the more I see them lose and bicker in Miami the more I smile about the whole ordeal of bosh and co. Carrying on like they won the ring the moment they signed

This is an idea that I just do not understand. Against the best defensive team in the NBA LeBron averaged 27, 9 and 7 in that series. And he completely shut down Pierce in 5 of the 6 games. If that doesn't make you happy, what would? Does he have to rip Paul Pierce's heart out of his body and eat it in front of Doc Rivers?

If you are looking for someone to blame in that series the obvious candidates are Mo Williams and Jamison. Those guys weren't just outplayed by Rondo and KG... they were repeatedly humiliated in that series.

Golabki, you obviously didn't really watch the CAVs verses the Celtics since you are quoting stats just like Lebron to use as a crutch. When Lebron plays motivated, you have a record blow-out of the Celtics in that same series. When Lebron is just playing for his stats... the opposite can occur and did with Lebron using the crutch of his stats instead of taking responsibility for his non MVP like performance like game 5 against in the Boston playoff series. You might have noticed that Miami plays much better when Lebron is not wrapped up in stat padding with his unparalleled physical talent.

As for the OP's question, Lebron has been acting like Dick the last two years (seasons) playing the free agent adoration game for the his own narcissistic enjoyment to the detriment of CAV fans. Wearing a suit doesn't make you classy which Lebron proved again through the free agency process. Lebron burned his bridges when he left embarrassing the team and it's fans. Lebron showed no respect and appreciation for the fans--- so why would they show respect and appreciation for him no matter where he went. Prince Lebron's fake canned comments about CAV fans basically sums up his personality.

It's not so much where he left to, or even that he left (to an extent) its the WAY he went about doing it.

The hatred would still be there, but the gloating from the Knick fans would have been unbearable here, as well as the fawning the media would have laid out as the "king goes to the mecca" crap would have been so deep we all would have needed hip waders to get through this season.
