The biggest difference was O'Brien went with Hansbrough in that game and we went from being soft to competitive. This team needs a physical presence guy worse than it needs another three point shooter. We will be susepible to this kind of thing until we work Hansbrough into the rotation and make the investment in developing his game more fully.

What is it with this board and Hansbrough? Ill leave it at that. (dont want a suspension for calling someone's favorite player bad :( )

Well executed play. Nuff said. As someone already posted, we should not have been in that position anyway, we were lucky to be close with how poorly we played.

When he plays things just happen and he has a knack for making plays when they are needed whether its a bucket or a tough rebound. And he almost always boxes out his man and that was sorely needed on a night where the Pacers gave up 19 offensive rebounds.

The Pacers are:

0-5 (.000) when Hansbrough doesn't play
10-5 (.666) when he does play
7-3 (.700) when he plays more than 10 minutes
5-0 (1.000) when he plays more than 20 minutes

These are just facts.

If those statistics showed up after a whole season or even half a season, I'd take them more seriously. Hell, when JO was injured in the past, we had a better record without him then with him. I know you're not sitting here trying to tell me if Tyler played 20 minutes every game we would be even close to 20-0.

I've tried to watch as many games this season as possible (only missed the phoenix and utah games i think) but when I have watched and Tyler has played, he has not done anything that made me think "Wow he needs to be on the floor more often". On the flip side, McBob (who i despised at the start of the season and still believe he is nothing more than a solid backup at best) has played well. He has made some plays that made me think that he deserved to be on the court. In the games we lost, we've lost either because we just got beaten by a better team (OKC, San Antonio, Orlando, all come to mind) or we have made mistakes as a team such as missing free throws, not rebounding over the course of the game or just straight shooting poorly. Tyler does not offer anything to us on offense, his defense is subpar because of his lack of size and athleticism. To me, he's a shorter McBob with less athleticism, less shooting ability, and less size.

ps: trying to cut down on smilies and "lol"

I appreciate it.

The 0-5/5-0 flip is worth exploring. The sample size is a little small, but it's large enough to be somewhat significant.
