There's no excuse not to watch. The Twin Cities are snowed in (snow advisory from South Dakota to Pennsylvania, there looks to be about a foot and a half of snow on my balcony, and it's still coming down steadily), the Gopher-Bulldog hockey game has been cancelled, Gopher hoops played at noon, and the game is on not one, but twochannels, WFTC (apparently they don't have enough Monk reruns to air on back to back nights) and WGN.

Game Time: 7:00 PM CST

TV: WFTC, WGN

* Martell Webster (back surgery) - OUT

Chicago Bulls- 13-8, first place in the Central Division, winners of 4 in a row, +1.3 point differential on the season, beat the Lakers 88-84 last night

Minnesota Timberwolves- 6-17, last place in the Northwest Division, winners of 1 in a row, -6.3 point differential on the year, beat the Pistons 109-99 last night

Keys to the game: Hopefully there's a letdown for the Red Oxen coming off a big W against the Lakers last night.

Kneecap Derrick Rose, or send in Pekovic with orders to crush him and add the young star's skull to his tattoo.

Win the battle of the boards (Wolves lead the league in rebounding, Bulls are 3rd).

Get mega-games from two of Love, Beasley and Darko.

Let's go Wolves!
ARRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Yes. Great stuff. I love the shot of Shane MacGowan, a truly legendary Boozer. Also, incredibly awesome photo of The Incredible Darko Hulk! And, a little Wesley Willis is just icing on the cake.

Speaking of icing, I ran some errands today and it was the most fun I've had in weeks! I actually kinda hate winter, but I LOVE blizzards.

Can't wait for the game, as usual. Hopefully we bring the energy, that's all I ask for.

Sweet gamethread.

Both teams on a back-to-back. Maybe being on two TV channels will be like not being on TV for the Wolves and they will win.

Awesome game thread. The Bulls forum probably has a lot of fun finding pictures for "boozer, Noah and Rose" lotta stuff out there I'm sure

although we have names like Love and I'm sure there's a lot of pics for a name like "Rubio".
(props on "Lucky Luke" btw)

Question: Darko is not 100% healthy, I don't know much about his type of injury but is their risk of making it worse by playing on it?

Also: Luke had a great game yesterday but he still was going for his own shot more than he should have. Work the ball around Wolves!

Same goes for Beasley.
MISCONCEPTION
"Beasley is our go to guy he shouldn't be passing the rock in the clutch"
Go-to guys get the ball at the end of games and are trusted to make the right decision. If Beasley was a threat to pass, defenses wouldn't be able to hone in on him at the end of games and he'd be more open to hit shots. As of now he's got horse blinders on in the 4th quarter, that just makes him easier to defend.

Request reviewed and subsequently fulfilled.

There is. The Bulls have the whole unicorn thing going for Rose, too, which means I was ultra pumped to see a pic of Axl Rose drinking out of a My Little Pony crazy straw.

Cool gamethread had a laugh at a few. Shane Macgowan, what a hero, The Pogues are such a great band, cult status over here.

I see you guys are getting the snow eventually, it's just all cleared up over here..thank god. It was really icy this week, ended up on my arse a few times.

Not very confident tonight but hey ho, I'll be here as per watching, mon' the Wolves!

Que? It's on WFTC and WGN. Which means we need to come up with something to ward off that evil imp Telly Hughes.

Those were the times.

But actually, just providing an addition insight to yall: When Beas was in Miami, he usually always treated Bulls game a lot more serious since he still wants payback from 08, so generally, he faces them with a chip on his shoulder. I hope he beasts it up tonight and bounce back from his off night yesterday. :)

They're really good at home, and Rose is going to rip us apart. Is Bassy our best option to guard him? I can't see Brewer or Wes doing well against a guy like that.

Put a wing on him and let Ridnour guard bogans

Yep. I'm thinking Brewer will do best covering him. I'd like Wes to give it a try too.

Hmmm... according to my cable box WFTC is showing House. WGN however, has pulled through. We will see if it comes on WFTC at 7.
