GT: Hawks vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Fri Dec 10, 2010 5:52 pm

When: 8:30 PM ET, December 10, 2010
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Starting Lineups:

Hawks:
PG - Mike Bibby
SG - Marvin Williams
SF - Josh Smith
PF - Al Horford
C - Jason Collins

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Dejuan Blair

Coming into this game the Hawks haven't beaten us at home since 1997, yep that's right 1997. But we can't sleep on the Hawks, they've won 7 of their last 8 games and they've been playing some great b-ball. The key to this game's going to be stopping Josh Smith and Al Horford, both have been playing great lately.

Joe Johnson will be out for the Hawks with an elbow injury.

Go Spurs!!

Great game so far. Smith and Crawford are really hurting us.

Blair starting to beast again. Good to see! 4 steals! Great win against a quality team.

I hated this game till the 4th quarter.
So much turnovers, no ball movement, poor shot selection. Spurs looked like they were mad at something. They couldn't focus. Look at our %FT..it sucks!
We made a good play and the next one we blowed it. Credit to the Hawks for hustling and being agressive all over the place.

It was good to be agressive starting the 4th, getting to the line and when we got a good 5-7 points lead we started hitting 3s. Geoge Hill's corner 3 is so automatic. RJ made 3 great 3s and the game was over.

Still the best record in the NBA. Dallas needs to lose!!! lol

RJ and Hill's 4th quarter shooting saved us in this one. Nice win. Another solid game from Beast Blair.

I wasn't feeling good through that whole game until the fourth quarter. I was thinking, **** we might lose this game.

I mean, first quarter we were turning the ball over.. and add that we're missing FT shots. Felt like Dejavu all over again. Those were huge problems for us last year. Game was fairly close coming into the 4th and then we executed perfectly and timely shooting from Hill and RJ. Duncan didn't even play I think that 4th quarter. Not even Manu. It was all Parker-Hill-RJ-Bonner-Blair combo that put the game away. That was nice to see.

Hill has been fantastic for the past month or so. His shooting and aggressive drives to the hoop have been winning us games.

Agreed, Hill and Blair are both playing well.
