Even though we lost, I think our team showed amazing guts here, it's a loss but nonetheless it was a good performance all around.

(Except for Farmar, he sucks!)

Wow, I'm really disgusted.

Chants of MVP for Bryant, you would think we're at MSG...

I wouldn't call this a choke, Kobe just took over the last few minutes of this game, and none of our players are half as good as Kobe or the Lakers in general in close game situations.

As I type this, Odom with a dagger

I am in no way blaming the loss on Lopez, but he has had some terrible plays down the stretch in close games this year.

If that's the case then yeah I agree with you, but not with this game. Kobe scored 23 points of his 30 in the 2nd half, he just took over and we couldn't do anything about it.

He was the only one that scored more than 2 points with 3 minutes left in the game.

Lopez ALWAYS gets criticized on this damn board, even after a 25-9 game and limiting Gasol.. it's become really lame.

I'm not upset at the loss...but I am upset at Avery who still refuses to give Favors significant minutes. It's getting quite comical at this point especially when you consider we're a bad team to begin with. I just hope he stays true to his word and starts Favors sooner rather than later.

I guess I worded my post wrong.

It pisses me off too when people criticize Lopez so much on this board, I support him and usually defend him.

I was just pointing out that he sometimes does poorly in big situations...I'm not hating on him like many do.

I'm worried that when Favors starts he'll still only end up getting 16-20 minutes

This is exactly what I'm talking about with Favors. How are you suddenly going to elevate the guy to the starting line-up when it's quite obvious that the coach doesn't trust him enough to give him minutes when the game is close and it matters?

Give him some meaningful minutes (especially when he's playing fairly well), THEN talk about starting him.

Unless, Avery is foreseeing that near the 41 game mark, that the team would be stinking it up that they will switch their focus then....which at this point, could very well be the case.

I was at the game and Nets fans were out numbered 3 to 1 easily. There were more Lakers jerseys than anything else.So at least it wasn't Nets fans chanting MVP.Still very embarrassing as a true Nets fan sitting there.Good game though,I started some boos once the mvp chants stopped and a couple Lamar Kardashian chants.
