Trivia Facts: Prior to coming to Memphis, Grizzlies TV Play-by-Play Announcer Pete Pranica spent five seasons (1999-04) with the Trail Blazers, the last four as their television play-by-play announcer, where he teamed with Steve “Snapper” Jones.

Keys to the Game

1. Blazers playing in a bac2bac w/ the Spurs. Fatigue should be a factor in this one which means the Grizzlies must take advantage like they did in the game vs. the Suns.
2. Contain the Blazers backcourt is key in this case. The Grizz have to shut down the slashing lanes and force the scorers to beat them from the perimeter.
3. Rebounding will be a dominating factor. Our team effort has to be on point towards winning the battle of the boards.

Grizz play physical like San Antonio and they can win. Both will be tired but Grizz should have more energy overall playing at home. Probably will be a close game

If Miller is going to make Conley his b*tch every time, why put Mike on him so much? I understand our offense isn't great without Mike, but it sucks tonight anyway.

Look at that. Put Mayo/Vazquez on Miller instead of Mike and the Grizzlies take a lead.

Those guys played great. ZBo had a really nice game too.
Marc and Rudy played like butt. Rudy especially though.
These past few games it looks like maybe Memphis has sorted out a few of their problems winning games that they should. Hopefully these guys can build up some momentum to put themselves in position for a playoff run so we don't have to deal anyone mid-season.

ZBO the allstar. Really the only reason why our team flirts with 0.500 this season and last season is ZBO. Some guys step up here and there but the one critical piece is ZBO. I often think we should cut him loose this season and let him get paid elsewhere but then it might be right back to the toilet bowl for us...
