Iggy is a better at everything except shooting, so I'd take him extremely easily.
Iggy is way, way, way worse in salary.
Yes, but he's way, way, way better on defense.

Re: OJ Mayo?
Mayo's defence is a little weird. His rookie season a lot of people were praising it and while he wasn't locking players down he was playing well enough to be considered good. After that it just took a nose dive.
I think it might have had something to do with the coaching change. Iavaroni seemed to like him more and his advanced stats look better as a rookie for some reason. His PER differential was only -1 instead of the -8.5 it has been this season, for example. It also looks like the ball got taken out of his hands a lot as his ast% went down but the amount his jumpshot has been assisted has gone up a huge 18% from then to now.
I know he's not perfect but I see a lot of the same things with him that I saw with Beasley. His team misuses him, he has a skillset the team could use and he's young/cheap with a familiarity already with the core of our team. I wouldn't sell the farm for him, or even give up Webster or Johnson, but if he can be had for cheap I think you do it.

there's nothing special about oj. he's always given empty numbers. a good game here, a bad game there, a mediocre game here. forget his high school days already.
