Over 5000 posts and I have never done a game thread. The game threads here have been really good and I am a little apprehensive about trying to continue the trend but i am willing to try.

If you dont want it then Ill do it. Im the optimust on this board. I admit that Im losing hope by the second though. Wall isnt playing with stuff that AI would play with. Gil shows no leadership and is back to not going to the rim again. Flip has the dumbest rotations ever and our team has the lowest IQ ever.

With that being said, I want this one because I think for the 1st time all year we will start Wall-Gil-Thorton-Dray-McGee, and start to look alot better. Tontoz can take it if he wants though because mine will probably be basic with hardly anything on it

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring here too. Hopefully, we'll go on a long winning streak and I won't need to step up for a long time, but put me after dlts on the list.

Tontoz I don't want to have that quote about Yi going forth. I don't recall posting that. If/when I did it was wrong to put Chinese in the quote. I hate the idea of putting down a nation of people.

Yi sucks. Please take Chinese out of it. I am very sorry for ever (apparently) having said that.

"The optimist" of the board - lol

And hear I thought I was doing a tone of that over the years.

News: Wall (foot) is not sure whether he will be able to play Friday against the Knicks, the Washington Post reports.

Spin: Wall missed the seventh game of his young career Wednesday night, and his foot problems don't seem to be getting any better. He said after the game that the pain that started in his arch has spread to his toes, making it difficult for him to cut, jump or push off his foot. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Wizards give him a couple of games off to try to get this problem to clear up, but for now he's considered questionable for Friday.

Wall video out injury.

Poor Dray. Is anyone talking about him and his hip ?
Ah, from the game preview.

Big man Andray Blatche has averaged 22.3 points in his last three meetings with New York, but was also unavailable Wednesday for the second straight game due to a hip contusion. He's uncertain to play Friday.

So if not Dray and no Wall again, who will he start this time ?

Maybe.

Gil, Nick, AT, Booker, McGee
Kirk, Gee, Martin, Seraphin
Armstrong, Yi

The idea here would be that Gil will play a more balanced PG/SG with Nick out there since he likes and plays well with Nick. AT played well last game. Those are you 3 primary scorers. Booker is strong and quick for setting picks and D and McGee gets the start after a benching so he is hungry to play solid again.

BTW -

After dlts takes us on a long winning streak, then fugop does the same, we have nobody in queue to do game threads.

Let's use this thread here to sign up and keep track of who's up.

I will throw my hat in the ring to do a game thread. Hope it is a long time from now, but I have a feeling it will be a rough month :(

I'd like to sign up to start the following threads:

"So, what do you think about this whole Gil/Gun thing?"

"EG should be fired!"

"I'm the greatest thread starter of all times! Donkey and JWiz can't hold my jock ."

"I love yuppies!"
