I'm not even upset that Paul George isnt playing because of Rush's play. Ideally, for Lance and Paul, they will get an opportunity next year when Dunleavy and TJ are gone and maybe Posey. Until then, no one is playing their way out of the rotation, so neither of them can play their way into it unfortunately.

I realize summer league isn't the best comparison but Lance hasn't played a NBA regular season game. So until then, that's the best way to assess it. Lance toyed with people in summer league.

I watched every one of his games. I know. I'm almost like the LilOJMayo for Lance Stephenson.

When you think about it, the guys in summer league were very similar to the kinds of guys that Lance has dominated through his short stint at Cincy. He could get by with just outmuscling people or using his natural offensive ability to get a shot on the rim. Obviously, he cant do that same stuff against every-day NBA players.

Most of Lance's shots were mid range pull ups. He can shoot and get to the rim with speed, power, or just his ball handling ability. His offense alone should get him playing time, but this year we're comitted to defense it seems, so the coaching staff wants him to improve there before playing meaningful minutes.

I watched all of the games and most of his scores were driving to the basket. He hit a few shots, but most of his shots were from in close. Agreed with your analysis of his offensive game though.
