If you possibly put someones career in danger you sure would. It would be different if he accidently bumped into him when he wasn't paying attention. He knew what he was doing and could have really hurt the player. You don't want to put your life and your families life on the line here is an idea don't be a ****.

IMO it's the whole Jets coaching staff that needs to be reprimanded. They look like they are in a lined up formation. I understand they are standing in a legal area but it looks ridiculous. Singling out this one coach is ridiculous. Just look at the picture in the OP's post. They are standing shoulder to shoulder in formation for a reason.

The fact of the matter isn't the player wasn't badly injured. I understand what you're saying - but it didn't happen.

He didn't end the players career, and he shouldn't be fired.

I'm not marginalizing what he did, at all. It was deplorable. He's been fined 25 grand and suspended the rest of the year. That's a pretty harsh lesson.

WEEI was saying something about the special teams coach of the Jets being a part of it having the guys stand there. I caught the end of the discussion so I don't know if this was something of proof or just them guessing who was behind it. I guess the Dolphins player is known for running out of bounds?

Back to thing trainer, I understand he is paying a heavy fine. He's not paid like NFL players and 25 grand a losing out on the rest of the season is a steep fine. I just think it's such a silly thing that didn't need to be done.

He better hope he's taking the fall for someone above him, because if this is solely on him he's never working in the league again.

Jets announced they have suspended Sal Alosi indefinitely because they discovered he instructed players to form a wall on sidelines.

I don't see what the problem is with forming a wall. The issue is that he goddamn tripped a player. They should have kept his punishment the way it was. No need to ruin the guys life.

New York Jets special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff said Tuesday that the New England Patriots employed a similar "wall" tactic on punt return coverage as was orchestrated by Jets strength coach Sal Alosi on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

"I had nothing to do with it, just to be honest with you," Westhoff told Chicago sports radio station ESPN 1000's Waddle and Silvy Show. "I didn't even know we were doing it. There was some organization to it. [There are] a number of teams [that do it]. If you watch carefully, there is a pretty good team up north that lines up their whole defense when they do it, so it's something that just kind of happened."

I don't know about you, but I think I would get fired for something equivalent to this or atleast suspended. Your talking about an extremely unprofessional move that could have injured someone. I would almost put this at the equivalent of getting in a fight with a co-worker at a grocery store in front of customers. If I did that while working at a grocery stored, they would have canned me instantly.
