If it's indeed a shooter who changed teams last summer then welcome to the nets Willie green/Luther head/raja bell. :o

Either way this move reeks of desperation. Clearly Denver didn't like twill so we're stockpiling picks to eventually overpay for melo. Sigh.

If we get mayo or something then by all means mea culpa, until then thanks for another panic move Bk. Maybe we should have just held onto the shooter we gave up just so we could pay Troy Murphy.

it's probably luther head then. He makes the most sense. he hasn't done well with the kings and they haven't done well at all. So head is not better than twill now.

sounds like its sasha vujacic and 2 firsts.

vujacic is an 5 mil expiring and the firsts are houston in 2012 and lakers 2011. Not great but not good either. I guess theres a chance the houston pick is lottery.

My only hope is we're loading up on picks to avoid trading Favors. At this point that is probably wishful thinking.

Woj is saying for Sasha and 2 1st rounders. We're also sending out Joe Smith.

KEEP T-WILL! We don't have any more exciting players to watch except Favors now.

Well I can tell you that the Kings play the Rockets tonight and Evans is out for the Kings, it was already annouced that Head was taking his spot in the starting lineup. I would think he would get pulled from the game just like Williams to avoid injury. We shall see if he's starting.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Why is this happening, serious crisis mode right now for me. Billy King is an idiot even though we did get 2 1st rounders at least get us Ebanks or something instead of Vujavagina. Why T-Will ..

Unless King turns around and picks up Iggy or Mayo this is awful for me that is and my Nets fandom.

Rocket fan here to inquire about T-Will, as far as I know he's basically Iggy lite, agree/disagree?

Has the talent to be Iggy lite. The light bulb needs to click.

Cons - Has a lot of turnovers. His jump shot is not there yet. Is not consistent on defense. Professionalism (probably what did him in here).

Positives - Excellent athlete, excellent rebounder, Good penetrator, good playmaker

There are some similarities, but Twil is a lot more turnover and isn't the scorer Iggy is. Twil's an awful scorer because he can't shoot or finish inside, and he isn't a reliable playmaker because his handle isn't good enough and he turns the ball over at a crazy rate.

He's a combo guard with good court vision, but who is terribly inefficient. Some here have always been way too high on him. Hell, some were calling him a future superstar during the offseason.

Seriously? Those picks are not at all attractive to me..especially that Lakers one, which could very well be a very late pick in a very weak draft.

This is looking like another stupid move in order to sweeten the pot in a Melo trade...The Nets seriously needs to give up on this man already.

Jordan Farmar + Sasha Vujacic + PF banging a Kardashian .... that means championship, right?

Prokhorov was serious when he said he wants to be the Lakers.

Agreed on everything here. This also frees up a roster space to possibly take back a garbage contract pending we send back a few of our expirings and garbage contracts (highly doubtful ANYONE takes Outlaw).

The trade itself...it's possible one could look at it that we dd get fair value though, which is two late 1sts and an expiring for an inefficient player the team was unhappy with (Thanks, Avery) and an aged veteran we shouldn't have signed in the first place.

I thought you'd be happy! Now Ross and Graham get to see a boat load of playing time!

...and the whole point of this is to trade for Melo when we send out another one of our young guys in Favors. I weep with you.
