Marreese Speights ??

Coro has said that there is interest about this player.
I like it, is a good power forward with great touch, length and good hands. A little soft but an improvement to our roster.

"Philadelphia's Marreese Speights, recently out of the rotation there, seems like he would be an interesting inquiry, just based on how he has played against the Suns alone. In three games with 24 to 30 minutes against Phoenix, Speights averaged 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds. Yes, it was against Amar'e Stoudemire. And, yes, there are reasons for Doug Collins not playing Speights now. But it's not like a Stoudemire is out there available for acquisition"

Doesn't look like he's saying there's interest, all he said was Speights would be an "interesting inquiry", meaning it would make sense to ask Philly about a trade for him.

Now should Coro be in our front office, hell yes I've been saying it for years, but sadly his logic doesn't proceed through the front door of the FO.

Yes to Speights, but not at the cost of Lopez to them. Possibly Earl and a second pic. or something along those lines. I wouldnt give up anyone remotely important. Question is, is there a chance in hell of getting Brandon Bass????

But this is the Suns, Lawal will get 0 playing time because we dont develop our players, we let other teams develop their players and then trade for them at full price.

Not like they could ask for much more. You'd think they'd want to get rid of him for an expiring. I'd love to see what he could do here for Clark. Seeing as how we'll never see what Clark can do here...

No. And we need to stop looking at every trash bench player and thinking the Suns could turn him into something. If they aren't playing on their shiznit team, then there is probably a good reason for that. Unless of course, it's Anthony Randolph, because he is playing for D'Antoni, and once DA decides to not play you, then you get absolutely no more chances.
Tomorrow I hope to hear a lot of trade rumors involving the Suns.

So then why would Speights get any PT? Apparently he's got attitude AND motivation issues, AND he plays soft.

That's not true since Gentry came in - though the EC thing is hard to figure.

Philly fans (and coach DC) are down on Speights for no rebounding, no defense, and that's why he's sitting, also apparently not a very good attitude about it.

Turk for Nocioni and Speights - although the quick look I gave on the 76ers board descirbed the young 'un a s"lazy, selfish and poor defender."

I don't think that would be a problem on this squad. I see your point but one fo the channels I got in years past was WGN, and so I saw a lot of Bulls games. he really stood out

I'd love to have Nocioni in the Suns. For obvious reasons. And the guy has a huge heart. He just needs to be motivated to use it, and with so many other wing players here, I just don't see how it could work.
