i wonder if they could just take the roof off the metrodome? I suppose there would be trouble the lights and sound system

It would be kind of ironic if this helped to get a new stadium built.

It was on the field and you could see it buckling for a long-time. Doubt anyone would've been hurt. If it collapsed in the stands, that's another story.

Well, the game had already been postponed due to concerns, so it's moot. All I'm saying is if that thing had gone during a game, dozens of people would have been killed, maybe hundreds. Put 50,000+ people under one roof and then yell fire and see what happens.
