Hedo Turkoglu is a player known for his constant trash talk — only because of his thick Turkish accent and mumbling voice, his opponents don’t know what he’s saying.

On Thursday night when the Magic played the Suns, Rashard Lewis found himself opposite Turkoglu and his constantly moving mouth.

“He was talking noise, talking a little smack,” Lewis said. “You can barely understand what he’s saying, but he’s saying something.”

Turk’s trash talk is a mix of English, Turkish and jibberish. Dwight Howard said it’s difficult to keep a straight face when Turkoglu gets going, especially in a game like Thursday.

“It’s like mumble, mumble, mumble basket, mumble, mumble, mumble ball,” Howard said, sort of. “It kind of confuses you as much as anything.”

Talking trash was about all Turkoglu did on Thursday. He finished 0-for-8 from the field and scored only two points.

Probably because Hedo's not worth "noticing" anymore.

Weather update from Canada's capital:

-26 c today (-15 f) and about 5cms of snow (2 inches).

Got home from the office and had to shovel the drive way. Of course 5cms of snow (2 inches) is nothing. Wont be long now until we have around 60cms of snow (2 feet) of the white stuff in a day.

Terrence Williams is inactive (and not in the building) for Tuesday's game against the Sixers, and it's because he's going to be traded to a Western Conference team on Wednesday.

It's a three-way trade, with Williams going to Houston and the Nets getting back Sasha Vujacic (from the Lakers), the Lakers' 2011 first-round pick, and the Rockets' 2012 first rounder. Joe Smith would also be sent to L.A.

Two things spring to mind:

#1 - wish we were getting T.Will!!!

#2 - wonder if the Nets are loading up on 1st round picks to send to Denver for Melo?

I was hoping we'd grab him.

He was the most available prospect. Who do we aim for now?

Not that Mj is interested in prospects.

I'm afraid so Slam. I think the Nets are more desperate than ever to get Melo. So this is MJ killing 2 birds with one stone. Completely miss the boat on Melo and T-Will....nice.

The crazy thing for the Rockets is that they already have K.Mart, Battier, Budinger, Lee, Brooks and Lowry.

Where would T.Will fit in?

^ That's what i was thinking. Head scratcher for sure, Rockets can't be that dumb, or can they. Here's a longshot, but do they(Houston) do it to make it work for NJ to improve their position - climb their way into a playoff seed in the West, knowing Denver would most likely fall out of the top 8 when Melo leaves.

G/F Terrence Williams has struggled with attitude issues in New Jersey, but his abilities are so clear that the Rockets were willing to wager a first-round pick to acquire him. They liked Williams in the 2009 draft when the Nets selected him with the 11th pick. The Rockets hope (and believe) the 2012 pick they send the Nets won't be that good. It is lottery protected through 2017 when, if the Rockets are somehow still in the lottery, it would become a second-rounder. To make room for Williams, they will send guard Jermaine Taylor to the Sacramento Kings for a second-round pick protected through the first 55 picks of the draft.

A heavily protected 1st rounder for T.Will that might actually end up being a 2nd rounder?

DAMN IT!!!

Problem is, the more they suck, the more likely it will be that they will only have given up a 2nd rounder for him.

At WORST it will cost them a pick from 15 onwards.

Turns out that Melo rumor was false? I haven't heard anything else about it since then.

I'm enjoying watching the end of the Bucks - Spurs game. Boguts defense has been awesome, including 6 blocks.

Bogut finished with 7 blocks but it wasn't enough thanks to a buzzer beater by Manu.

The Manu shot was as good a shot as I've seen in the NBA.
