Use it and it would be doubled. So not sure. If we could trade it in a deal. Then it might be worth more that way.

Wait and see what happens with the health and performance of Ratliff and Smith - plus hopefully not Fish or Bynum (at 36 it could be hard to come back from a freak major injury for Derek.)
Can it be traded or saved until the summer?

IIRC you can't trade a TE, you can only use it to acquire a player (or players). You can't combine a TE with another TE or package it with another player to get an even bigger contract, either.

My guess is the team will let it expire unless some awesome MLE-level guy becomes available without a long contract. I don't see that happening though, the FO probably wants to just get that salary off the books.

lets use it on Yao after the season lol, if he proves he can come back from these fractures he could be a solid backup, I pretty sure with a reduced role as backup playing 10-15min/gm his risk of injury willl greatly be reduced.

Sign Sean Williams but make him pinkie-swear not to be a bonehead.

you can't sign anyone with it, only trade for.

Hopefully Luke is somehow packaged with it, if possible!

Walton is Kupchak's last mistake that he has to correct.

I just wanted something a little more than a 35 year old player that will be inactive for a long time. Does it really make that much sense. I like the second rounders we got. Seems that is all we use to draft these days. Luke was a second rounder. So the worse Golden state does the higher the pick will be.

With all the players who enter the draft early, it pushes some good prospects down and they are almost like a first rounder.
