---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roster
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starters

Image PG - Chauncy Billups.

Chauncy is aging, as we're a veteran team. He's mister big shot though, an excellent shooter with god defense and decent passing ability. He's gonna be a mentor too, but he'll be a good player in the lineup. We have high expectations for the guy.

Image SG - Allen Iverson.

He's also old, but he's a huge slasher. He's going to put up Denver numbers and I realy think he'll be great this season. He's a hometown favorite, and he's a great passer. An amazing getting to the rim guy, and an all around good player.

Image SF - Gerald Wallace.

Gerald is a great defender, who's body is in top shape. He's goingto be a huge part of the Heat starting lineup this year, and we expect big things from him. He's also an athletic guy who'll get a few and ones.

Image PF - Antwan Jamison.

Antwan is special. He's a good sized defender, with an awesome shooting stroke. He's going to be a good rebounder and passer onour team, and we expect big things from him. We really do.

Image C - Jamal Maggy.

J-Magloire is due for a big year. He's old, yes, but that shouldn't affect his rebounding and shot blocking ability, and his ability to get points in the paint. He'll be a good player next year. We're excited.

Bench(with positions they’ll play):

Image PG - Mario Chalmers.

He'll have a big sixth man year with us this season. He's a great defender, a great passer, a good shooter and he's a very clutch player in the NBA. He's our sixth man.

Image SG - James Harden.

Great defender, he'll be a starter soon enough.

Image PF - Amir Johnson.

Young talented we aquired in a trade. He'll be good this season, with rebounds and such.

Image SG/SF/(rarely)PF. Jamario Moon.

Moon's defensive ability on our defensive minded team shall be a huge boost to the franchise. He's a great player who'll also be a good dunker. He'll be getting in the paint a lot, and will be feasting off easy baskets.

Image PF/C - Juwan Howard.

Juwan is a great shooter. He's a decent defender and a decent rebounder. He's going to be our deep bench guy, but he'll do fine.

Image SG - J.R Giddens.

Giddens is a good young talent. He's a good shooter who can defend and jam it home whenever he wants too. He's our developing youth, what we expect from him is quality production.

Image SF - Luke Walton.

Luke's a good shooter and defender. He's a DEEP bench guy who'll be getting garbage minutes, but he'll be alright.

Image C/PF - Mark Blount.

Great shooter, bad rebounder, average defender. He's a garbage guy, but he'll be a good backup.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How my team addresses the scoring
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Contending (50 points)

Our defense is really good. We've got a group of great defenders on our team. We can handle most players, and are going to be a force to be reckon with on defense. We have great depth and veteran playoff expierence, combined with young talented youngsters. We consider ourselves contenders, and if not contenders at least the CF. We're pumped!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Building for the Future (20 points)

We're not a huge future team, we're a few years team. Our team has a group of youngsters that are expected to play there role. They're going to be good players in the future, and Chalmers is going to be great. We're not exactly a young team, but we're a team that'll cause issues.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cap Management (15 points)

We're not a team concerned about the salary cap, we think that we'll be fine. We're a team that's a now or never type of team, we aren't concerned about it whatsoever.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coaching (10 points)

Image Cleamons: ....Has worked under the wing of Phil Jackson, who is the greatest coach of all time. He knows the triangle, and knows how to win a championship. We know he's a great coach.

Image Assistance coach Lindsey Hunter: Former NBA player who recently retired, a PG who's known for great defense. He's known as a friendly guy who'll be a great asset.

Chemistry/Roster Management (5 points)

Washington Wizards
(sorry it took so long i forgot)

Starters:

PG: Rodrigue Beaubois -
Young, lightning fast and a terrific outside shooter. 50% FG and 41% from 3 pt. Terrific in transition and incredibly quick. This pick is to stretch he floor on the perimeter and giving the Wizards another above-average ball-handler. In this current starting lineup, Rodrigue will be 1 on 1 with his defender almost all the time. Only a handful of players are as quick. On the downside he is a rookie and prone to mistakes but there is limited pressure on him and he doesn't have to dominate. Role player.

SG: Manu Ginobili-
Manu is arguably the 3rd best SG over the last decade. A multiple champion with no weaknesses. Manu is the best perimeter player Lebron has ever played with which gives Washington an unguardable front-court. Every title team has a player like this, tough, smart, above-average defender and playmaker, underrated shooter and very clutch (Manu, at times will take the last shot instead of Lebron). Having 2 players on the perimeter who can create their own shot puts maximun pressure on the defense. As with Rodrigue (because of Lebron) he will almost never be double-teamed. We are shocked this future Hall-of-Famer fell so far in the draft. Downside, age and injuries are a concern.

SF: Lebron James -
Every player on the roster is built around this player. He will be the primary ball-handler but can defer to Roddy/Manu take take some of the load off. He has (Manu) to create on the perimeter, he has (Roddy) to stretch the floor, he has (JJ) to run the pick n roll and (KG) to anchor the defense. KG and Manu are by far the best players he has played with and surrounded by these teammates will elevate his production even more. Lebron has had problems leading teams in the past but not here. Having teammates who have won championships are paramount to Lebron because he's never proven to get the job done alone. There is no doubt he wins MVP with this supporting cast. Every team mate can defend, score run the floor and finish in transition. He will be a nightmare to defend with so many weapons around him. The only weakness he has (on the court) is trying to do too much. If he's right mentally there is no stopping him.

PF: JJ Hickson -
JJ will be the 4-5th offensiive option in the in the starting 5. He will be the (garbage-starter) in the paint. Average scorer, rebounder and defender. His main purpose is to run the pick n roll with Lebron and Manu. Already proven to finish in the paint with Lebron running the show. Very athletic and is above-average in the department of finshing on the break. Very strong and young. Weaknesses are immaturity and lack of offensive skills. Poor jumpshot, postmoves and FT but surrounded by this current team his limitations will be masked.

C: Kevin Garnett -
Still an abobe-average defender/rebounder (when healthy). A fierce competitor who wants to embarrass the opposition. The offense will run thru him at times because he's very skilled down low and one of the most underrated big man passers of all time. His athleticism his falling but his jumper has improved. KG being able to stretch the floor is incredibly important to the teams penetration. Though undersized at Center his basketball IQ makes up for it. He can effectively front opposing bigs and come up with a decent amount of steals while getting his usual 1-2 blocks. His dominant rebounding days are over but his physical presense is still elite. Paint intimidation isn't a problem for KG. Weaknesses are age and injuries.

Bench:

Rudy Fernandez -
Main 3 pt shooting threat from the bench. Decent ball handler who can facilitate the offense at times. Athletic and can finish inside when fed from Manu/Lebron. At time shows brilliance on the court but looks lost as well. Weak mentally but his talent is needed. Poor perimeter defense and kinda soft. His #1 duty is to stretch the floor to free up Lebron. Very cheap.

Ryan Anderson -
Combo SF/PF who shoots 43% from 3 pt. Decent rebounder but limited with the ball in the post. Very capable of picking n popping on the pick n roll. Big body, smart player and will get heavy minutes on this team. Typical role player who stretches the floor.

Joel Anthony -
Undersized center but athletic who can defend the paint by shot-blocking. Excellent timing when blocking though only 6 ft 9. Liability offensively who can't score unless set up by teammates or finishing on the offensive glass.

Jeff Teague -
Teague has shown signs of being a legit PG but is too inconsistant to be a real threat. Basically another body who can improve his game based on the quality of his teammates. Decent defender.

Gerald Henderon -
Incredibly smart and athletic. 100% potential with this pick. With the lack of bench rebounding he will be asked to crash the boards. Average defender.

Kurt Thomas -
Oldest player on roster but still effective in short periods. Big body who's tough with experince in guarding opposing bigs. Always been an above-average rebounder who's developed a decent 10 ft jumper. BB IQ from the vets are essentail for the young bench.

Dante Cunnignham -
Won't see much time unless injurys occur. Athletic and slim, can play SG/SF and sometines stretch PF. Cheap player who's a poor mans Travis Outlaw.

Jermaine Taylor -
Cheap journey man who will be mostly inactive. Roster fill out.

-

Contention:
This team is built to win Championships right now. Already with 3 MVP's (KG - 1 LBJ -2) and 4 Championships (Manu -3 KG - 1 ) plus the best player in the league IN his prime. Three Hall of Famers surrounded with productive youth. The talent and leadership this roster has is outstanding. The biggest threat to this team is the team itself. If the Wizards don't win a title it will be the biggest failure in NBA history.

Future:
The future of this team isn't as good as the current product. Any team with a (25-30 yr old) Lebron will contend but their championship window is only 3-5 years. KG is 34 with only a few years left. Injuries are a concern. Ginobili's numbers haven't been declining and is still sharp on the court. When his contract ends in 3 years his peak will be over. The Wizards aren't to concerned about the future because it's a franchise starving for a ring now.

Cap Management:
Kevin Garnett - 18,800,00
Lebron James - 14,500,000
Manu Ginobili - 11,854,584
Joel Anthony - 3,000,000
Kurt Thomas - 1,352,181
Rudy Fernandez - 1,246,680
Roddy Beaubois - 1,156,080
Ryann Anderson - 1,409,040
JJ Hickson - 1,528,920
Gerald Henderson - 2,103,840
Jeff Teague - 1,476,340
Dante Cunningham - NA
Jermaine Taylor - 700,000k

= Just under 60 mil.

Roughly 4 mil over the Salary Cap but under the Luxury Tax. The payroll only gets higher as KG/Lebron and Manu hit major contract escalators over the next 2-3 years. The FO is limited financially and can only sign a FA thru the minimum.

Coach:

Flip Suanders -
Flip has experince coaching superstars in their prime (KG 2000-2005). He can handle big egos and led his team to the playoffs every year as proved in Minnesota and Detroit. Poor record as a HC in the playoffs but advanced to the WCF's in 2004. Mostly ran the majority of his offense thru bigs but he has the coaching ability/experience to adapt to any style of play. Always has been strong coaching defense. Smart coaach who the player respect.

System:
This team, no doubt will be run thru Lebron James. Lebron can dominate the style of play in transition and half-court set. Roddy will space the floor with his 3 pt shooting and quickness. Manu can take over offensively and productively guard any SG. What makes this lineup dangerous is Manu's ability to create his own shot to take pressure of Lebron. The pick n roll will be run consistantly with LBJ/Hickson and KG can shoot the rock from 15 ft to create paint space for penetration by LBJ/Manu/Roddy/PicknRoll. Offensively the only starting weakness is Hickson's offensive ability with out being set up... Defensively there are no elite defenders but team-wise they're defense is legit. KG can still anchor the paint and Hickson is athletic and can hold his own down low. Manu is still a solid defender who uses BB IQ to his advantage. Roddy is quick and can create steals. Lebron can guard positions 1-4 effectively. Offensively this team is explosive and effiecent and defensively they're intellegent.

Chemistry:
Nobody on this team has legal problems but there are some character issues with Lebron and Rudy. Lebron has a giant ego and can isolate his teammates off-the-court. Rudy has attitude issues and handles his buisness thru the media. There is enough veteran leadership on this squad to limit off/on the court problems. Coach Saunders is repected by the players.

To All Judges

Sorry to be a nuisance here, but I just realised I forgot to do the quick explanation for my team. The other thread is locked, so i thought I'll post it here. (If no one minds?)
(Miklo, if you feel this goes against the rules, please feel free to delete this post.)

Contending (50 points)

-Quick explanation
We believe our team can contender right away even though we have a young team. Our star playersof Russell Westbrook and Al Jefferson have been surrounded by young players, who have high potential, such as Evan Turner, Paul George and Al Faroup Aminu. We believe that is the best way we can develop our young players while being in contention for an NBA title.

-Building for the Future (20 points)
We believe we have the best young team in the league. We have players such as Westbrook, who is already a superstar, along with future stars such as Aminu, Paul George, Evan Turner and Sonny Weems

Cap Management (15 points)
As of now, we are pleased to state that our team is in a very good cap situation. We are a contending team, and although we have just passed the salary cap, almost half of our salary figure is in expiring contracts.

Coaching (10 points)

Veteran head coach Rick Adelman will lead this young team into the future. He will be tough on the court, but also willing to take the young players under his wing and mentor him. Assistant head coach Elston Turner has spent almost a decade working under Rick Adelman, and they have built a very very solid relationship.

RM/Chemistry

This team has been built around a core of youth, but veterans has been strategically added to the roster to mentor the youth. Veterans such as Kenyon Martin, Samuel Dalembert, and European veteran center Fran Vasquez. They will be expected to lead by example both on and off the court.

Still haven't heard from a few judges, if you're still interested in judging could you PM me an ETA on when you can do it?

If not we may have to just go with what we have, but it'd be nice to get a few more in. I'll let everyone know what I hear from the judges cause it's about time to wrap this thing up!
