Ya man. It's crazy how big of a technology jump we took around the time period they were talking about. And if its true that there really was an alien crash landing there, it would explain a lot.

^Way before Ancient Aliens tackled the idea again, it's been said that all of the Major Techs we enjoy now (like Microwaves, Velcro, GPS, and even Microships) are the result of "outside" influence.

You know what facinates me the most? The history of it all. The idea that there may have been really advanced Civilizations around way before the dawn of our Race, and then nature took its course and either forced them to leave or wiped them out. :(

I know this is a little OT even for this thread, but I feel it relates because of some talk of conspiracy and such.

I was listening to the song Dr. Aden by B.o.B and it had interviews going on in the background about how Bayer knowingly sent AIDs infected Factor VIII vaccines(?) overseas . The interviews said that it was the vaccine was sent to other countries because a lot of money had ben spent creating Factor VIII that Bayer had to make some money...I look

Now, I wasn't alive in the 80s and I'm too young to remember this in the 90s, but I talked to my dad who is a doctor, and he said this is the first he's heard of Factor VIII infected with AIDs being sent overseas.

So, the conspiracy that I'm curious about, is do you guys think that the US did, in fact, create the AIDs virus/knowingly sent it overseas (in order to make a profit)?

Here is some stuff to look at:

http://www.ahrp.org/cms/index2.php?opti ... f=1&id=318

I'm pretty sure I can't post the website to the interview because it's in another forum (that I don't belong to - googled the interview and found it lol). If I can, I'll post it (or the transcript here).

Ya i know. I was telling my girl the same thing about it being possible that technoligy was so advanced thousands of years ago and that the population was either erased or they had to go somewhere to avoid disaster(run on sentance, too tired to figure out how to fix it). We have no real proof of everything. They say the earth is over 450 million years old or something like that. I have no idea. And all that stuff about the hindu's and stuff sparked an intrest in me as well.

I might do some reading on that.

They thought for YEARS that Mesopotamia was the oldest City on Earth, then they discovered regions that had Cities at least 5,000 Years older.

And you the best part? All of it was by accident by nomads/farmers!

Just imagine the amount of stuff we've lost to time due to Geological Upheval! Who knows if other types of advanced intelligence evolved on our Planet then died out, leaving little to no trace of them.

Maybe, but a breakthrough the nonetheless. Could lead them to more focused research that may lead to more safer treatments or even a cure.

Wow. This is conclusive evidence of the existence of Ancient Astronauts. What could possibly be a more reliable source than a vague oil painting on a fictional event? I should read more wikipedia to educate myself.

Definitely. The U.S are generating so much revenue on AIDS/HIV prevention and curing.
We all know that research on AIDS/HIV medication and treatment costs peanuts, so it was a slick financial decision to do so. For further proof, we all know that U.S residents are pretty much immune to the AIDs virus; we also know that third world countries such as Africa are literally gold mines and prime consumers of high end medication.

I once met a person that told me that the first case of the HIV virus occurred in North America. I just laughed in his face  .

This thread needs to be stickied IMHO. I caught the Ancient Astronauts eps, REALLY great stuff. The Third Reich episode BLEW MY MIND. The Noah's Ark being from thousands of years before Mesopatamia concept is pretty sick too, it actually made sense. I put together what they were saying before they actually made the statement. I have to find an online stream of Decoded though, it started at 2:00 AM and I was not staying up for that with work at 8.

Yeah, I actually feel like I'm pretty familiar with a lot of these theories and ideas, but Ancient Astronauts always gives me new looks. The Bell craft story was crazy with the Nazi's. Also, if you check out the experts and media people they interview throughout that show, they all have really great stuff to look at. The Coast to Coast AM cat has a pretty cool web show, but sometimes it's got over the top insane theories...still it also has some REALLY interesting stuff.
