Wrong Rush. Kareem played for LA, charlotte, then indy in 07, then eventually the Sixers. Brandon (younger brother) was drafted a few years ago by the Pacers.

What I think?

I would easily pass. Johnson, even though being a good player, hasn't a high ceiling. Moreover Iguodala at 26 is mere 3.5 years older than Johnson. Brackins is also a nice prospect. Overall that's not enough in return for players who have positive value.

Does Iggy have a high ceiling? He has certainly reached his max potential. Just a thought.

I'm not convinced johnson ever bcomes half the player iggy is now. So if wes's ceiling is maybe getting close to where iggy is now...
I don't think we'll see iggy add some new facet to increase his potential/ceiling, however I do think as the team learns the offense he will be come an even more efficent player

So you guys are willing to pass up a top 5-10 lotto talent in Wes Johnson and a large expiring contract for Iggy?

I can't see any harm done in doing deal. But the upside, IMO, is just too good to pass up.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

The deal also had us moving LWill and Brackins for expirings (which I don't like at all) or taking back AB, which I also don't like.

I would be okay with something based around an Iggy for Wes, though I still think a Wes/Pek deal makes the most sense. Pek is making too much money and is one of 3 'raw' C who need a lot of playing time (imo) in Min. So a wes/pek actually saves Min some money which helps ease the burden of Iggy when they resign Beas/Love

Who cares where he was picked, he's arguably the 2nd best player taken in that years draft. I'd much rather have the guy who ends up being the 2nd best, then the guy who was picked 2nd (lol definately in this case!)

I don't think Johnson is the 4th best player in this draft 5yrs from now.

is hijacking/bombarding the board with his unnecessary negative messages enough to get banned?

he complains about everything for the sake of complaining. but trolls like him are everywhere, so perhaps there's no point to ban him.

The only thing i disagree about with some members on the board but not all of them as you can see. Is that i don't think that Iggy is good for this team for the long haul. He is overpaid and limited to what he brings to this team. He is a solid player. But, for what he is being paid, they certainly could spend that same money on another player that could make them better. If for one think that Lou Will has surpassed him as my number one player that i want traded right now though.

But really if having an opinion on a message board is a bannable offense. Then we would all be gone.

Having an opinion is great but when it's the same opinion over and over in thread that really don't call for said opinion that's when it get annoying. You are entitled to your opinion and trust us we know you want Iggy ( and Lou) gone and because of this knowledge we don't need to hear it all the time

I dont even care if Toronto comes on our board with a decent trade, I kinda dont want to see anymore proposals from you guys.

Anyway, Top 10 protected pick, awesome. We'll get that in about never.
