Couldn't watch the game as I was at work. Looks like it was a lot of the same thing.

When are Wall and Blatche coming back? Is Josh Howard still alive? Does our med staff still have their collective jobs?

If you tuned in about halfway through the 2nd quarter, it was fine. The first18 minutes of the game were inexcusably bad though.

I'm contemplating watching the game through Comcast On-Demand. But I just don't know if that's how I want to spend 2 hours of my life.

right on Bobby

these jerks, (I won't say girls because my teenage daughters are more
emotionally stable than these folks) need to be ignored and not quoted

the 1st 18 min had me wondering where to find a brown paper bag
to wear over my head at the next game. It was beyond bad. There
was virtually nothing to applaud by way of good things happening.

What seems to be happening lately is that the starters come out weak, then Nick comes in firing and shoots them back in the game (he had 15 in the first half last night). But they seem to be fighting from an early hole too often.

Wizards2Lottery has just joined Ace on my ignore list.

Is this a VIP list or something?

Correct.

Very Irritating Persons

I am flattered (not really) that some guys are more interested in talking about me than talking about the team but i have had enough.

I liked what i saw from Booker. Even though he struggled to finish on offense he got to the line 8 times, making 7. He obviously played well on D.

I share willbcock's concerns about Booker's size. While you are right that his measurements aren't much different from Lee, Blake Griffin and a few others; it just doesn't seem to translate so well in games. Booker just looks short out there. He has trouble on the defensive boards.

Booker got 7 defensive boards in 30 minutes and 2 defensive rebounds in 30 minutes. That's pretty good especially for this team.

The Nets out-rebounded us 52 -37. I watched the game again today, Booker missed chip-shots repeatedly and didn't finish around the basket. It would be a mistake to try and plug him in at SF or PF for extended periods (depending on the match-ups).

I don't want to get all bow-logged-analaysis-y on you guys, but despite having general strength and a strong upper body, Booker does not possessive trunkish legs. As a result he gets low and uses leverage to hold off defenders and rebounders. This is great, exactly what he should be doing, but it means his long arms are not up there where the rebounds are going. I don't see him as a 10 rebound per 36 player.
