MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS PLAYERS WISH LIST HERE !

Post#1 » by dozencousins » Fri Dec 17, 2010 7:45 pm

In light of the fact we all know at some point we will do a trade , 2 or even 3 more . I thought with christmas here in just 8 days it would be fun to make a list of 5 guys all of us would like to see the KINGS trade for ? The only rule here is keep your list realistic !

My list goes like this :

1. STEVE NASH
2. JEFF GREEN
3. O.J. MAYO
4. CHAUNCEY BILLIPS
5. # 1 DRAFT PICKS

So what is your list ??????????????

Danny Granger
Gerald Wallace
Josh Smith
OJ Mayo

If no big trade happens involving these guys then I hope for the #1 pick in the draft (Irving or Barnes)

Haha yeah, well it's my wish list, not my realistic list. There's no way we get Rajon Rondo either.

I kind of wanna keep it a bit realistic personally.

How about

Eric Maynor
Memhet Okur

Landry for Maynor and a late 1st
Okur for Dalembert straight up

Udrih/Maynor
Evans/Garcia
Casspi/Greene
Thompson/Jackson(whiteside)
Cousins/Okur

That line up would be very sexy having okur to spread the floor would really give our bigs some room to work. And maynor could truly explode given more of an opportunity than what is available to him in OKC.

Billups is the perfect vet for this team if we were fighting for a playoff spot. But we aren't so a younger pg that could be part of our long term plan definitely makes more sense at this point IMO.

I think the team would benefit much more from the guidance and experience of a proven, winning point guard. As evidenced by our 2nd half meltdowns, the Kings need to learn how to win. The experience of winning is much more valuable at this stage than a potential-laden pg. What I want for Christmas is an experienced veteran who can help develop this team.

1. John Stockton's clone to run our PG and teach tyreke how to facilitate an offense.
2. REggie Miller's clone for outside shooting and to teach tyreke how to be effective w/o the ball.

Lol you said keep it realistic. Phoenix giving up Nash (especially to a non playoff team) is not realistic.

LOL to you !

It is realistic the KINGS or A NUMBER OF OTHER TEAMS COULD GET NASH if the SUNS decided to go into the youth movement . They are currently the 8th seed & easily could get passed up by PORTLAND , MEMPHIS even possibly HOUSTON & if the SUNS really thought going young was the way to go it is very realistic I guess you dont really aren't paying that hard of attention to the revolving NBA . Phoenix could easily want J.T or LANDRY .
I guess you think you know every realistic move in the NBA ? Doubt it

Well what's funny is our owner (along with everyone who follows the nba) knows and has said nash is our engine that makes us go and is basically untradeable. But I wouldn't expect you to know that. Besides I think the Suns organization has enough respect for nash to at the least send him to a contending team IF it came to trading him. -From motorola android-
