If the Wiz find a way to get Gortat for Arenas, that would be amazing.

I wouldn't look that deep into Gil''s numbers so far this year, they would go up in Orlando. We've seen what a fresh start can do for players. He's probably still a little rusty and Washington obviously hasn't been a good fit for him.

Howard coming here can only happen if he extends with the Magic to 2014-2015, we have no money :(

Magic should be trying to pry Nash from Phx, not going after Arenas or Turkoglu.

Basically. Just taking on contracts. Only difference is Orlando startd doing it earlier than we did. So it might work.

Two things Orlando really, really needs to do:

1. Get Arenas

2. Unload Lewis

This still won't make them convincingly better than Boston and Miami unless they can trade Rashard

not sure why they aren't pushing Lewis + Gortat for Arenas + whatever. Then get Lewis replacement by trading Carter for Antawn Jamison.

^ You could say the same thing for Ernie Grunfeld if it goes through.

Rashard for Arenas would be trade of all trades.

Well he isnt what he used to be. I have him on my fantasy team and hes pretty inconsistent. At one point he was a top 10 player in the league but I dont know if he has it anymore.

Love Vince failing in Orlando though. That quitter got what he deserved.

Arenas really has no help around him, especially with big men. It's hard to be good when the other teams don't respect many of your offensive players. The only consistent offensive player we've had all year is Nick Young.

my question is does this mean that Nelson is on his way out the door?

SF:Lewis
PF:Bass
C:Howard
SG:Reddick
PG:Arenas

Nelson to another team for a better power forward

I think Orlando only does this if Blatche is involved, i've always thought he'd work well next to Dwight and in their offense.

No I'm pretty sure Rashard will be traded for Gil

The Way Rashard is playing, and with his contract being shorter and larger by the time it comes off the books it would be an easier deal to make.

Rashard has been terrible so far this season. I honestly want to see him traded before the deadline.

You guys are crazy. Arenas isnt nearly as bad as he looks right now. Once he heard about the trade, he started coasting. Wiz fans have been upset by how passive he is but now you see why. He knew he was going to get traded and is just coasting. He completely took his foot off the gas. We have said that he looks like VC in his final year with Toronto.

Where he did nothing but lit it up as soon as he got traded. Gil will do the same thing in Orlando, espically if they either move Nelson or bench him. Gil will be better at the point. Not only that but Gil has played nearly his whole career with Jamison who is like a Lewis clone. I bet he could get the best out of Lewis
