Just remembered that Gilbert and I have the same birthday. I guess it'll be cool having him on the team.

I know majority of you guys want VC and shard gone, but trading them for arenas i don't think makes you guys better. As a bulls fan, VC and shard always kills us b/c they cause some serious match up issues. And I understand vc and shard shortcomings as well . But Gilbert Arenas isn't the answer. Yes, when he's hot, he can score. But he will really expose your defense... Just awful.. And dwight will def see even less touches then b4... I do enjoy watchin you guys play, but Im not sure if gilbert arenas is the answer..

I Don't wanna think that positively... it never works out for us Magic fans. It usually ends in disappointment. As a former Mets fan as well, I know the feeling all too well.

Just reminiscing a bit... I still remember when I heard we were getting an all-star player a few summers ago. I was so excited, and then I found out it was rashard, and was like, that's pretty good. And then I saw the contract and wanted to cry. lol.

Philly wouldn't.

Vince/Gortat/Ryno for Iggy/Brand/Battie may be more realistic.

I agree with everything you just posted. I think the majority of Magic fans do as well.

I was never not sold. My post a few pages back:

Orlando just needs change. A week in Philly with Jameer and his grill would probably do the team a lot of good right now. A blockbuster trade would also be change, and so might be beneficial, but it's also not the only way to turn this slump around. We've got a solid core of players, a group more than capable of competing for the chip. And yet, by virtue of our offensive system or certain slacking individuals or whatever you want to attribute it to, it's fair to say we've vastly underachieved in the early part of this season. I'm in favor of doing whatever it takes to turn us back into the team we saw in the preseason. If Otis believes that the only or best way to do that is to trade big guns for big guns, well, I support it.

Well, if you saw how both those guys defended JR Smith and Carmelo last game, you would agree that the defense could not get worse. So, we'll take the offense.

Orlando Magic in talks to get Gilbert Arenas, and have a second trade in the works as well. Rumors have it that the Arenas trade is for Rashad Lewis and that the other trade in the works could be for a package of VC and Gortat for someone else... Arenas deal could be announced as early as tomorrow!

... okay I'm done now with those, I'm losing my mind, too many possibilities... I can't wait til tomorrow

You know, that makes Washington a pretty decent playoff team.
