Dwight Howard according to sources vented pretty aggressively at both Stan Van Gundy and Otis Smith, urging change.

Something is weird. Maybe some of this stuff is smoke screening. Maybe they want to dump Gil for VC and we want them to take Shard instead, so these alternate deals are being put out there to show them we got other options?

I just don't see why we would agree to Turk back here if we are already getting a playmaker in Gil, and sending away the only thing that made Turk work in the first place, which is Shard in the stretch 4. Turk was pretty underwhelming before Shard got here, but for the price he was ok. Now, it wouldn't make sense to do this.

Hedo Turkoglu to Orlando talk has legs... Hedo is owed $23 million after this season, he waived his final year to get out of Toronto.

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Dan Savage is about as legit as it gets, so this thread definitely will remain busy.

Maybe Dwight shoulda vented more about changing the gameplan to get him the ball more than player changes.

Major player changes to this team is gonna eff us up.

You can't trade for 2 starters from 2 separate teams along w/ the role changes of players we've got now and expect things to go well.

If that's true then VC has become a cancer to this team...

what's with WT:

"Lewis And Carter Going To Washington For Arenas?"

???

Lewis AND Carter? who the hell would we get back? Arenas + who? Blatche? Hinrich? Josh Howard? that still doesn't come close to matching salary.

unless we get some good young talent to go along with Arenas, that's a dangerous case of putting all eggs in one basket.

now, back to my running statement... "i don't believe it"
