I remember Nash calling Duhon when he was thinking about signing with New York, and Nash telling him that DA was a great coach and will change him.

Hedo is pretty much worthless to the suns but no point in including JRich unless we get better.

Well, Gortat would allow us to play Frye at starting PF(and Frye has been balling as a starter.)

Jrich just has so much more value to this team then playing a backup Gortat for 18 minutes. Frye is already on the team and trading our starting shooting guard for a backup is just never a smart move.

If the goal is to get a backup center they're a lot cheaper ways to do it. Besides If Jrich is shipped out package him with some picks, warrick , whatever it takes to get a PF back. Only way Jrich is moved is for a starting PF. Acquiring a backup isn't enough to offset the loss offensively.

On a side note, a 3 way should be worked out with Phoenix, Orlando and New Jersey where New Jersey has expirings going their way and we have Troy Murphy. He's just sitting on their roster, they want him gone.

Well the dilemma is really this. If the Suns did manage to trade Hedo and JRich for Vince Carter and Marcin Gortat, it would open up some more money for free agency this offseason. And the Suns don't want to lose Jrich for nothing like what we did with Amare. Gortat is a very serviceable big man who would probably get more minutes than 18 per game. In all likely hood, he'll probably end up starting and we'd have Robin Lopez and him splitting up the minutes 50/50 at center.

# Orlando also close to moving rashard Lewis to Washington for Arenas and a big to replace Gortat 4 minutes ago via Echofon

# Magic & Suns closing in on deal to send Hedo/jRich to Phx for Vince and Gortat. "90 pct" chance of it happening, sources say. Within 24 hrs

No, No, No! Why VC for J-Rich. WHY?! They're both expirings. J-Rich is awesome. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It needs to be done to get rid of Hedo!! It's the only way! I hate losing J-Rich's awesomeness but we get a huge addition my subtraction by losing Hedo. We don't even need to play Vince Carter, we can just play Dudley and Childress at the two, Hill and Clark at the three, lol.

In this scenario, Washington and Orlando make deal centered on Arenas for Rashard Lewis, sources tell Y!.

I hope this is a strategic non mention of J-Rich. Hedo for Gortat/others is just fine but J-Rich for Carter, no!!!!!!!

Why would they leave out Jrich's name? I know it says "among sevaral on move" but I would assume that is garbage players.

J-Rich is practically riding this team on his back along with Nash. We might seriously go to a lottery team without him and I still want to see Nash on the Suns.

Return to Phoenix Suns
