If all these deals happen and we do get a big from Washington, at least they have guys on decent deals. Armstrong isn't great, but he's also expiring. Booker would be nice, but he's too much like Bass and can't play center. Seraphin would actually be quite nice. Raw rookie big with athleticism. My guess is that it would be Armstrong though.

darthmerrick wrote:SO essentially the peices being shipped are Lewis to Washington for Arenas and H. Armstrong?

And

Vince, Gortat, Q. Rich to Pheonix for Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu

That leave us with
PG Jameer/J.Will/Duhon
SG Arenas/JJ/Pietrius
SF J.Richardson/Hedo
PF Bass/Anderson
C Dwight/Armstrong

Maybe Pietrius and Frye are involved?

that line up is actually kind of growing on me. a lil.

Why make some rushed, desperation trade right now if there's still some hope of snagging what we really need? It smacks of Obama just caving into McConnell & Boehner's stupid wealthiest-two-percent taxcut extension thing to get something done before congress lets out.

If we offered the best we could and Denver said no thanks, no use waiting around. There is no way Otis makes a deal if Melo is still on the table.

If a deal goes down, then Melo was clearly a pipedream.

Trading a top 15 point guard for a backup center for Dwight Howard? That makes a lot of sense.

I guess it all comes down to team need. If the team is bringing in J-rich, are they doing it to play the 2 or the 3. If it's the 2 that means gilbert is being brought in to man the point which leaves mighty mouse as the odd man out. IMO this all looks like a bunch of changes for changes sake. Bottom line, if Gilbert isn't playng like "Hibachi" this is just gonna end up being one gig cluster****. Here's hoping Gilbert is still a difference maker

Broussard twitter: Rashard for Gil straight up. No big from Wiz to Orl.

Our backup center can't be Malik, can it? Another deal coming?

So potentially every starter at the beginning of the season except for Dwight could be off this team by next week?

This is pure craziness...

Could Earl Barron be the additional player? If so, take that Miami!

Jameer/Duhon/Williams
Arenas/Redick/Q/Rich
JRich/Hedo/
Bass/Hedo/Orton
Dwight/Ryno

It is growing on me. Is it odd that of all these guys being moved, Pietrus is the one that saddens me?
