That's hard to say considering the Suns system he plays for. I mean if you look at this defensive #'s.....meh (downgrade) but in Orlando's system he may look better.
He's pretty much a jumpshooter (80% of his shots are jumpshots) these days but he has range out to the 3pt line.
He can score still at a very effective rate.
The only concern I would have is that in the Suns system 75% of his jumpshots were assisted...that # won't be there in Orlando's system. He may have to create more offense for himself but he's definitely a good player & Suns fans seem to really like him.

I'm laughing at you guys who think Jameer is going somewhere. He will be our starting pg. It's a joke that you can't figure it out.

Well I like the first trade for you guys. J-Rich is good, shame you're losing Gortat though.
It means trading for Arenas makes less sense though.

There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Just played with my new lineup vs Cavs on NBA2K11:
PG. Arenas (12/2/6) / Nelson (15/1/8)
SG. Richardson (13/3/1) / Redick (16/1/3)
SF. Turkoglu (3/4/6) / Richardson (6/4/1)
PF. Bass (8/6/3) / Anderson (11/3/1)
C. Howard (19/10/1) / Orton (4/9/0)
I LIKE!

I so just f**king laughed at this. Turk coming is a great thing. Brings unity and another ball handler. He hasn't seemed happy since he left. And shedding Rashard's contract is good even though Arenas is expensive himself, he's worth the gamble. J Rich is playing out of his mind and it gets rid of some of our pointless depth that we wouldnt use in the playoffs anyways. As long as we get a decent back up center I think we could have a great team being assembled here. Can't be too pessimistic about this. Even you extreme debbie downers.

How come nobody else has this line-up? I like it a lot more than the Nelson/Arenas pairing.

"I like this team". Well done, Otis, you tried. We brought in guys who may have shooting issues, but have balls of steel.
Earl Clark may be the best thing about this deal.

Former late lotto pick who has been a bust so far, but he's got some size. Decent gamble IMHO. If we traded Gortat, we needed to get somebody back with some length. Playing with Dwight could really help him.
