At this point Richardson is much better than Carter since he actually isn't a pansy. However, hedo is just an albatross.

Oh Lord, I wish they had never included that piece about Kevin Martin. Now for the next 5 years, whenever we lose a game, we're going to have to hear about how Otis passed up on Kevin Martin for Hedo.

I highly doubt it was nearly as simple as just choosing between the two deals.

I like it! I'm convinced!

Arenas will be coming off the bench guys. He will not be starting.
Arenas coming off the bench is going to be VERY good for the team.

WE DON'T HAVE VC AND LEWIS ANYMORE!

I'm happy with this trade. Earl Clark has HUGE potential. This team is going to be better than the current roster.

Martin is good, but Richardson may be a better fit for this team. Doesn't need the ball in his hands as much, and if we trade for Arenas, Martin wouldn't have the ball in his hands. Even if we don't trade for Arenas, a backcourt of Nelson/Richardson is actually pretty darn good.

The cash is probably for the $4 mil Carter is owed next year. I have no freaking clue why we added the 1st or Gortat for that matter.

I'm interested to see what our rotation will be if this goes through. It better be the end of the stretch 4 thing (unless other deals are in the works) because there is no way in hell we should be playing Hedo any time at the 4. I'm pissed enough that he is almost certainly coming back, let alone if we are bringing him back to play out of position.

Both will waive their final year. We basically canceled out Gortat + MP for Turkoglu and Lewis for Arenas.

Both Gil and Turk will do so much more than those 3 guys.
