I want Steve to go to a contender if we can't build one for him here. Starting the rebuilding now makes sense.

What can we get for him? What fringe contender needs a star pg. Atl does.

Since it is inevitable, anything between the Knicks and Suns? If Nash does become available he will be automatically linked to the Knicks because of D'Antoni.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Nash will get over it.
We'll become a better basketball team, and Nash likes winning. It's not like Vince/Pietrus/Gortat are any unfriendlier then J-Rich/HedoClark

Re: Nash Starting To Waiver? The Phoenix Dilemma
I would imagine any "rumor" would be essentially Nash for Felton and a small piece. Considering age and production right now. I agree that Nash probably won't be traded, just a lot of fluff will come out about rumors that he wants to reunite with Amar'e and D'Antoni now that the Suns are retooling.

LA would be the best team without a good point guard.... I wouldnt make that trade though.

What about the Heat though? What we'd send would leave them a bit thin inside but Nash would be a much better third wheel than Bosh, and man we'd never have to regret Amar'e again getting about equal talent for cheaper.
If not though yeah ATL could make a play for a legit PG to replace Bibby...and for us getting a long term explosive big in Smoove is much more valuable than a PG that will be top of the league this year and next.

We do have talent now though. We just need to figure out what were doing and put feelings aside. Trade Nash and rebuild with new guys. If you take Nash out were done this season, but give Drajic a couple months with players like Duds, Chill, Warick, Lopez, and I think we COULD DEVELOP into something great!
May be true, May not but all I really know is that im getting tired of watching them play. The only thing exciting about them is the bench, and if Gentry is shortening it then whats the point?
Did you quote yourself, and then say it may or may not be true?

As for the building a team around a player, I never thought it could be Amare. He just ins't smart enough. This year, he is trying to prove me wrong, good for him, but it may in return prove the FO correct in not giving him the contract he got from NY.
I have problems with building a team around Goran and Lopez as well. I fear that building a team around guys we don't have signed for decent contracts, will force contracts that might either force us to over spend or to let Sarver just get rid of them.
